Vampire Diary Ch 2: Now or Never

Kyira stood and watched Zane as he bandaged Jason and silently listened to Adrian and Bella talk.
"So Dianne is dead..."
Kyira was a bit unbelieving Dianne really was dead still.

Zane nodded, "Weird, isn't it? She was older than all of us."

Jason shook his head, trying to keep a focus. "why can't I see straight?" he asked quietly, panting a bit.

"It's blood loss, Jason. Just keep talking." Zane asked, finishing up tying the bandage around his leg. He would loosen them when the bleeding had stopped, but for now, he left them tight.

"Well we can't say much for her dying from old age. She was what,near 400,500 maybe? Or am I just over shooting it a bit...?"

Zane laughed, "Just a bit."

"Eh, she once said she did a guy from the Renaissance period, I assumed she was old or lying."

"She's from the Renaissance period." Zane laughed.

Jason was starting to pant a bit. he was breking out in a sweat. "why do i feel like i'm falling apart" he muttere before he fell to his side unconscious.

Zane caught him and brought him into one of Dianne's many bedrooms, laying him down and elevating his leg and arms, "That should help. I'm not the best medic in the world, but I went through first aid classes."

Kyira sighed.
"You going to follow him or not smart twin and...brain dead...twin?"

"Him." Zane chuckled, "And you don't give Kalvin enough credit."

Jason's body was shaking a bit. he had lost a lot of blood from his severely burned hands.

"I am pretty sure Kalvin is the smart one. If not then they can both just go die." Kyira said with a smile.

Zane sighed, "Better, but it still could use some work."

Bella sighed, "Well, we should get back inside to everyone else."

"So, what are we going to do now that Dianne is deceased?" Kyira asked as she crossed her arms.

Adrian nodded a little. "If you're ready."

Bella nodded, though she didn't feel ready, she felt like she needed to be.

Zane shrugged, "Dianne would have known where the missing page was, so we need to look around for anything that could hint to where it might be."
Kalvin walked in, "Like this?" he held up the book Dianne had been holding, "She wrote 'The Page' above the word 'Transylvania' in the book she was holding. Their might be creatures that are on to where it is, so we probably need to keep moving."

"You sure?" He asked.

Bella nodded, "Yeah. I'm starting to get cold out here anyways."

Adrian put an arm around her and begain to lead her back in. His skin was suprisingly hot. "All right, come on."

Bella couldn't help but move closer to Adrian as they walked inside, going into the room where Zane, Jason, Kyira, and Kalvin were. "Where's Nathan?" she asked, "And is Jason OK?"

"Shush... we might be able to ditch him." He said.
