Vampire Diary Ch 2: Now or Never

Adrian led her outside into the fresh air and sat on some crumbled stone. "I, uh, know you probably wouldn't want this from me, but you probably need a hug and some conforting words... that's really not my thing but I'll give it a shot if you want."

Bella nodded, "If you think it will help. She was... practically my mother."

Adrian nodded and somewhat awkwardly gave Bella a hug. "I never had a mother... she died in child birth. The closest thing was my nanny, but I had a new one every week or so. But, uh, anyway... I know this is cliched but she's in a better place."

Jason was wandering. his bloood was dripping down his legs and off his hands. he blinked as he started to feel dizzy. he fell do his knees. "what the heck is wrong with me?" He asked himself. he had lost a lot of blood.

Bella nodded, "She told me she thought that if she ever died, that she deserved to go to hell. But, she was wrong. She was a good person."
Zane walked outside, pushing his hair out of his eyes. He looked over at Jason, "Good lord, what happened here?!" he seemed surprised, looking at Jason's hands, then lifting him and carrying him into the kitchen, running his hands under the cold water.

Adrian shook his head. "I never met her, but from what I heard, she's just enjoyed what she could do, but she does sound like a good person. There's nothing wrong with that." He said, letting her go. "

Bella nodded, "She always had boyfriends over. But it was never the same one twice."

Jason's body was shaking from the recent drop in blood pressure. he didn't even seem to recognize zane. "who are you?" he asked almost as if he was drunk. this was not a good sign.

"I'm Zane, I'm a friend." Zane spoke, trying strips of cloth tightly around his hands, "Keep talking to me, Jason."

Adrian chuckled a little. "Yeah, I heard she was like that. I hope you never walked in on them."

"Once." She shuddered, "I don't even want to know how she was bending like that."

Adrian smiled. "You'd be amazed what the human body can do. I can put my foot behind my head." He said, shrugging.

"That was nothing. You should have seen it." Bella assured him.

"what's going on?" jason asked quietly, starting to sway on his feet. his legs were bleeding a bit too.

"It looks like you burned yourself." Zane pulled over a chair with his foot, "Sit down if it makes you feel better, I just need you to keep talking. About anything you want."

Adrian chuckled a bit. "What was it like...?"

"Like... she had no joints..." Bella said simply, "It's hard to explain."

Adrian smirked. "Well, show me." He said, pausing. "Okay, kidding. Too soon for jokes?"

Bella smiled a bit and nodded, "I couldn't do it if I wanted to."

"i can't seem to focus" he muttered barely blinking his eyes. "am i going to die?" he asked quietly.

Adrian smiled. "That bad huh? Wow, no wonder Nathan was scared of her."

"I wouldn't have blamed him either. When she decided she didn't like someone, all hell broke loose." Bella chuckled a bit.

Zane shook his head, "No, you're not going to die. You've just lost a lot of blood and it's making you a bit weak." Zane cleaned the wound on Jason's leg and wrapped that as well.

Adrian laughed a bit. "There's more to it than that."

((Blah. I cannot believe I missed THIS much posting in a day...light summary someone... ): I feel bad for not posting now.))

((Dianne died, Jason almost killed himself fighting the demon, Zane's fixing jason, and Adrian's attempting to make Bella better.))
