Zane frowned more intensely, crossing both arms over his chest and trying to look away from everyone, "Do not."

And yet, we have proof right here...
Kyira held back a snicker.
"Okay Zane, we believe you." Not.

Zane relaxed a bit, rolling his eyes, "Besides, I don't think genetics works that way."

"You got your stubbornness somewhere. Must of been from your parents. So it could have skipped Marcello and was passed onto Isabella."

Zane raised a brow, "You don't want to meet our parents, trust me."

"I never have and never will want to meet anyone's parents. You know that, considering how well my relationship with my parents were." Kyira said matter-o-factly.

Zane snorted, "You REALLY don't want to meet ours. Mom is literally the bride of Satan. We're her bastard children with Michael."

"Michael? Seriously? I don't even want to know how, when or why that ever happened." Kyira shuddered, trying to suppress Zane's memories from her mind.

Zane grinned, "You have no idea how interesting of a childhood THAT was."

"Trust me, I know now. You really like to make me suffer mentally, don't you?" Kyira grimaced, her face clearly showing her trauma from Zane's memories.

Zane shrugged, thinking on something else, "Eh. Life."

Kyira smiled at Zane and shook her head. Somethings never changed with time. 100 years and Zane was still the same old Zane.

"She's definitely a work of art. Maybe I can try again later on, but I need to cool off first. I need something to drink. Have any wine by any chance Zane?" Linas asked

Zane nodded, "Kitchen is behind the stairs. Little door, doesn't look like much till you get inside. And the wine cellar goes down from there."

"Thanks" He said as he exited the room and followed Zane's directions. He entered the kitchen, which wasn't much. Then again, they're vampires. They don't need to eat. I hope they have some blood infused wine he thought to himself as he was opening the door to the wine cellar. Now THIS was Linas' scene. Wall to wall wine. From Alize to Zinfandel, and all infused with human blood too! He grabbed a bottle of merlot and headed back up the stairs into the kitchen. He grabbed a few wine glasses before entering the room again. "Miss me?" he joked as he poured himself, Kyria and Zane a glass

Riley crossed his arms a bit, eyes looking up as he heard the door slam and Linas make his way back down the stairs. He looked back to Marcello, blinking as he pursed his lips. "Uhm... someone else?" He was rather lost by the entire situation.

"Oh, I'm sorry.... Sorry I don't think I've ever caught your name. I'm Linas, Kyria's progeny" he said as he poured the stranger a glass and handed it him the glass

Riley looked over to the vampire, nodding his head a bit as he reached out and took the glass. "Thank you. My name is Riley. I'm..." He looked over at Marcello, then back to Linas, shrugging. "a friend of the family. We've helped each other in the past." He said, lifting the glass to his nose, and taking a whiff. "I can't drink this, though. I don't drink blood, for the most part. An acquired taste I have not acquired. But I appreciate the hospitality."

"Oh, I'm very sorry Riley" Linas said as he took the wine glass and chugged it down in one gulp. Isabelle had really worked his nerves

Marcello nodded, "Bella left the diary to another Bella. Our daughter."

Riley nodded his head at Linas. "I appreciate the gesture." He said before looking over at Marcello, visibly surprised. "Another Bella...? You had a daughter? Bella is- was, a vampire. How could she bear a child?" He asked.

"And I'm an angel. We didn't think it was possible either, but, she's sitting upstairs sulking in her room." He exhaled a sigh, "And unbelievably, she's pure human."

"I wouldn't say she's sulking. She's just being a spoiled brat" Linas added to the conversation

Riley listened to Marcello speak, pondering the revelation he had heard. He paused for a moment and shrugged his shoulders. "Life is an astounding force. It blows my mind sometimes. Stranger things have been known to happen." He said, before looking over to Linas. "She did just lose her mother. I don't imagine that mixes well with teenage angst. Is she even a teenager? It's been a long time since I've been here."

"She could care less about her mother dying. She told me that she wanted just to go away with Zane alone, like how things used to be. I understand grievance, but she more worried about getting out of here than her dead mother."
