The Vampire Diary: Fallen Angels

Marcello simply shuddered and shook his head, "It rarely is for her kind."

Riley grimaced, his lips pressing together in a dissatisfied line. "I am so sorry Marcello. I offer my deepest condolences. Miss Strauss was a remarkable individual. Broke the mold." He looked at the interior of the room, before looking back outside, standing sideways in the doorway. "Should I come back soon? I seem to have bad timing. I didn't mean to interrupt your grieving."

"Okay honey, what's going on your pretty little mind?"

"I don't wanna be here." she muttered, "I just want to leave and go back to it just being Zane and me but they're keeping me here."

Marcello shook his head, "Actually, you might not have come at a better time..."

Riley's brow furrowed a bit, lips pursing as he wondered what the fallen angel meant. "I'm not sure I follow..." He replied, stepping inside and shutting the door behind him.

"But you can't do that right now. Focus on the present and what makes you happy and not the past or future. Remember: you only live once" YOLO! Linas thought to himself and smirked "So make the best of the present and look forward to the future. Trust me, as a vampire it makes it a lot easier to have this mindset"

Marcello pushed his hands through his hair, "Remember Dianne?"

Bella frowned, "Yeah, well. I'm not. So I gotta make the time last. And I'd rather be spending it somewhere enjoyable."

Kyira eyed the new visitor, unsure of who exactly he was. She leaned towards Zane to whisper in his ear.
"Zane, who is that? I think I've seen him around here before..."

Riley nodded his head, curiously wondering what she might have to do with things. "Bella's friend. I don't think I've seen her shade of red anywhere else. A memorable figure." He said, eyes looking over to Kyira for a short moment as his acute hearing picking up on her question, before darting back to Marcello.

Zane sighed, "That's Riley. Friend of Marc's. Kind of a witchy-sorcerer type."

"Yeah, well... Apparently now that Bella's not here to glare her into submission, she's decided she wants us all dead." He explained.

Riley's brow furrowed again, looking up at Marcello confused. "Why? Or rather, how? You and yours don't seem to be the type to be easily beaten."

"Because of Bella's diary. She basically compiled a book of ways to kill everything, and Dianne likes being thought invincible. I call it an ego problem, but regardless of title, that's the way it is." He explained.

Riley pursed his lips, grimacing a bit. "The diary?" He said, pausing to think a moment. "She doesn't have it, does she?"

"Don't we think we're being a little bratty right now? I mean, I'm not trying to be rude but it sounds like you're stuck on your way even though you have absolutely no control over the situation. I'd wise up if I were you missy. We all have our sh*t, just be thankful it's nothing that directly pertains to you" Linas scoffed. He was starting to lose his patients.

Bella snorted, "Just let me be. Go away."

Marcello shook his head, "God, no. It's here. It's just been... left to someone else."

Linas had to resist from smacking the living daylights out of the towhead in front of him. "Fine, be a mess if you'd like, but let me tell you something: the world doesn't revolve around what you want and need" he said then swiftly exiting the room and shutting the door behind him. That child needs Jesus he thought to himself after exiting the room.

Kyira cringed as she heard Linas slam the door upstairs.
"I don't think that went as well as I had hoped it would.

Linas walked in the room. His face was the color of red delicious apples; he was heated. "By any chance is that child related to Satan?" He asked as he sat down

Zane laughed, "Nah, just Bella and Marc."

"Well she needs a reality check, and quick." Linas said while doing his I'm-gay-as-hell snap.

Kyira sighed.
"Linas, I surely thought your sassyness could appeal to her, since she's a teenager and all. But I think she has too much stubbornness in her. Probably from her uncle..."

Zane pressed his eyebrows together, "Hey..."

"Look, I cannot help your personality traits. That was done by genetics. Marcello is much more accommodating, while you...well..."

Zane frowned, "While I..?"

Kyira bit her lip, being very glad Zane wasn't a mind reader like her.
"Well Zane, you tend to like having your way. And I'm not the only one in this room who would agree, you like to have...tantrums."
