It's The End Of The World (As We Know It): R.I.P.

Vann looked up, the scowl on his face instantly disappearing. Replacing it was a look of utter relief.
"Marcello, thank goodness. Someone finally comes and gets me. We have to go find Kyira, she's been missing for over an hour now."

Jason caught the look in his eyes this time. He looked away, now his mind was confused as to what to do. he had a lot of things to consider. he loved bella... but bella surely would be hurt if marcello left by how long they had known each other... to many things to consider right now.

Marcello nodded, "Alright." He flew over to Vann and picked him up, flying towards the mall. That was probably where she was headed.
Bella looked back at Jason, catching a confused look in his eyes, "What's wrong?"

"Thank you Marcello. I know I haven't known you guys for very long, but you're starting to feel like family.
Vann blushed slightly at his own words.
"Kyira is very special to me, I trust you the most next to her...but I think I might...possibly...love her already."
His blush deepened as he turned his head.

Marcello nodded, not really paying much attention to Vann. His thoughts were entirely on Bella. She hadn't made her opinion of either one of them public yet and she had always been such an enigma... He was beginning to wonder if she liked Jason or himself? Was there even a possibility she liked Zane? He didn't even dare think about he with his brother. It would be way to weird.

Jason looked at her trying to hide it. "it's nothing" he said distantly. he looked away, losing himself to his thoughts. there was a lot to consider... he didn't know what to do, and he didn't like it. he had always known what do to before.

Bella made a face, "I know what nothing is, and that is something more than nothing." that had always been a signature quote of hers. Any time anyone told her that 'it was nothing', she said that. It was the one thing about her that ever got on anyone's nerves, but she didn't care. It worked.

"it's nothing you need to worry about" he said rephrasing what he had said. He lay on his back, looking up at the clouds in the sky still pondering his predicament. what was he to do???

"Too late." Bella frowned, crossing her arms, "I'm already worrying, so you might as well tell me why." She could be very stubborn. At this point, she wasn't going to give up. Something about Jason had changed in that last few seconds and she didn't know why.

Jason sighed. "it's a personal thing" he said closing his eyes. he hoped she would stop asking. he wished he was better at masking his emotions. He stayed on his back sighing again.

Adrian stirred. She wasn’t quite awake yet, and it was unsure if she ever would be, since her arms were still bleeding profusely. She was able to open her eyes, if only for a second, and saw Zane standing above her.
“Z-zane…” she murmured. Then her head went limp in his arms.

Vann watched anxiously as the mall came into view.
"I really hope she's there..."

Kyira sat solemnly on the makeshift chair, going in and out of consciousness.
"I should go get something to eat..."
She then slowly drifted to sleep yet again, with her book open and her finger on the line 'You are my life now.'

Bella's eyes showed hurt and an innocent naiveness that reminded people of a small child, "Are you mad at me?" She asked softly, her voice barely more than a whisper.

Zane brushed Adrian's hair out of her face and sat her down on the couch. He went over to Kyira's cabinets to get some bandages. Someone like Kyira always had them around. Weather it was for herself or Bella was uncertain. He came in the room where she was and bandaged her arms just tight enough to stop the bleeding. He didn't want to cause her any pain. Then, hesitantly, he kissed her cheek. It was a soft, lingering kiss that could have been felt on her cheek for about five minutes after it was given.

Marcello nodded. Kyira seemed to be fairly close to Bella and if anything happened to her, Bella would probably find a big nest of those lizards and stand there until one killed her. Not a good plan.

Vann stared at the mall, wishing it could move towards them. He was getting more anxious by the minute.

As Kyira snoozed, a low hissing sound started rounding the corner of the fountain.

Marcello landed in front of the mall and pulled his shirt on. "Here we are. Should we split up, or just check Hot Topic?" He joked lightly. He couldn't seem to get his mind off of Bella.

"Well, first let's check the Hot Topic, if she's not there, then we split up and look."
Vann ran his fingers through his hair as he walked.

Marcello nodded and smiled, "I'll fly you and Kyira anywhere you want to go if she's not there." He smirked. He loved making bets.

Vann smiled.
"All right, sure. But I'm gonna have to bet on you. So if she isn't here, I'll wear whatever you want me to until tomorrow morning."

Marcello nodded, smiling like an ecstatic child, "I foresee you in a little bo peep costume if she isn't there." he laughed out loud. Now that would be a sight to see.

"Well, I won't mind wearing it. As long as I know Kyira's safe back at the penthouse."
Vann chuckled at thought of him in a dress.
Absurd...yet funny...

Jason looked up at bella. "no i'm not mad at you" he said softly smiling a bit at her. "i just have a lot of things to think about right now" he said hoping she would leave it at that.

"Like what?" Bella asked, tilting her head to the side as she spoke. Sometimes she was just too inquisitive for her own good. Her dark green eyes still had a trace of hurt. Why wasn't he telling her? Did he not trust her?

Marcello chuckled, "So we have a deal?" He held out his hand for Vann to shake it.

Vann grinned and shook Marcello's hand.
"Most definitely. I hope you know, I really won't mind wearing whatever you find. Seeing as no one I knew before we were forced into this world still exists."

"mostly it's about you" he admited. he hated not telling her so it was getting to him. He looked up at her hoping that would be the end of the questions but he knew it would not be so.

Bella's eyes met Jason's, hers were inquisitive and naive. "What about me?" She asked. She hoped that he wasn't going to get angry for her asking so many questions. It was just the way she was. Besides, she hated it when people kept things from her. Which they did more often than she knew about.

Marcello smiled, "It doesn't mean that you aren't going to make friends here. I mean, I consider you a friend. And if you and Kyira weren't an object, I think Zane would be your best friend now."
