It's The End Of The World (As We Know It): R.I.P.

The world is coming to an end. Almost everyone has either been killed by the massive earthquakes that rivet across the planet or incinerated by gigantic fireballs that now hurl through the pinkish-red sky on a daily basis. The only people that are left are those with... exceptional gifts. They are stronger, faster, and have heightened senses than the human of years ago. Unfortunately, the world is ending weather they are stronger or not. There are only a handful of these people left and they need somewhere to go before it's too late. As if that weren't enough, the beasts of Armageddon are here to wreak havoc upon the earth in it's final days.

Rules:
This thread has a few rules that are separate from the general forum rules.
1) The obstacles as far as nature and the beasts go are done by myself. No one but me or one of the mods that I appoint to cover said beasties. Let no one tell you otherwise.
2) You are only allowed one power/ability for your character and the "no god modeling" rule does apply.
3) All of your characters have to be approved for this one. Post a character bio before you post anything else and you may not post until I give you the all-clear.
4) All characters are new humans. No vampires, ghosts, were-wolves, witches, ect.
5) Keep all your thoughts in italics so our mind-readers can see them.

Bio: Isabella had the perfect life, parents who love her, a big house, a loving older sister, when she overheard her father talking about something horrible. Isabella had contracted a disease brought on by all the sulfur in the air and had only been given a month to live. As if that weren't enough, their home was hit by a fireball only a week later and everyone had been killed, except for herself. Isabella soon after realized that the disease wasn't deadly as once thought, but instead it gave people strange abilities and made them faster and stronger.
Power: Isabella an only be killed intentionally. She has an "immunity" accidental or naturally caused deaths. She also cannot commit suicide, as her body won't allow her to kill herself.

Marcello has a HUGE crush on Bella, even though it is so obvious and Bella is so naive that everyone knows her likes her except for Bella herself.
Power: Marcello has a pair of white angel wings tattooed on his back that can turn into real wings that he can fly with.

Power: Zane has black angel wings tattooed on his back that can turn into real wings that he can fly with.

She was giving multiple solutions to see what reaction they would cause on her. Her parent's lab was surrounded by propaganda about the end of the world that caused many so worry. Though the idea had been around for a while no one did anything about it until these experiments took place. After the theory of the end of the world was proven right Isis was the only one of the kids that survived. She went through the old documents and figured out what had happened to her. She was given the ability to run fast and she develop a sixth sense.
Power: Isis had an unknown ability to read people's minds.

Bio: Lonewolf would be the best word to describe him. After all, he was abandoned as soon as he could walk. As for why, well, what parent wouldn't get a bit freaked out when a baby is playing with fire, especially when the fire comes from the baby's body... His looks didn't so much help his case. It wasn't that he was hard on the eyes or anything, in fact he was the opposite; tall, muscular, and, so he had been told anyway, very handsome. What was odd about him was his, well basically his whole head and his fingers. His hair, a little long, was a watery silver color. His eyes, a powerful golden yellow that almost glowed. And his teeth... well let's just say you don't want to mess with them. There is a reason why 'wolf' is a word used to describe him. As for his fingers, well it's mostly his nails, which would be better classified as claws. they extend about an inch from his fingertip and are very sharp. Living on the streets his whole life, he has become rather cold and untrusting. Though he is actually nice and a little hyper around those he considers his friends, who currently are none.
Power: Although he looks like a wolf, and tends to be as ferocious as one, his actual power is the creating and controling of fire. The main problem with this 'gift' is that he tends to lose control of it when he gets really hurt or when he gets exceedingly angry.

Isabella sat precariously on the roof of an old library. She used to do this all the time when she was younger, watching her sister frantically tell her about all the dangers of sitting on rooftops while Bella just laughed. Now, sitting on rooftops made her sad. She looked down at the empty streets, wondering where all the people went after they had... died. The streets that were once yours have been stripped of your very presence. No one will remember you.

Kyira walked down the street, with a light skip in her step, looking around for some form of life. Upon her walking, she stumbled upon the thoughts of a long time friend.
"Bella, what may I ask are you doing up there?" Kyira asked without losing step or looking up.

"Just considering jumping." She smiled, knowing who it was without looking down. Her blonde hair blew into her face, but she pushed it back and let the icy wind nip at her face. But you would already know that, right? she closed her eyes, taking a moment to flip through her vocabulary, Complexities of a watch are not unknown to a watchmaker.

"Go ahead and jump, I'll catch you." Kyira laughed at her own joke, knowing full well she'd step aside once Bell jumped, to watch her stand after the fall.
Kyira did a quick scale of the building and walked across the roof to sit beside Bella.
"So, how's the view from here?"

"Now that you are up here, then you should know. Unless you are now blind as well as stupid." Bella laughed maniacally, then casually slid off the roof. She fell for what seemed like hours, then crashed at the bottom with a sickening crunch of bones, splattered on the street below. She didn't move at all, not even a rise and fall of her chest to breathe as blood pooled around her. Her head was empty of thoughts.

Kyira laughed and jumped as well, landing gracefully on her feet.
"Bella, pull yourself together please."

Bella pulled herself up on Kyira's shoulder, "Oh, but falling is so much fun. If you couldn't die from i, I'd shove you off so you could see for yourself." Bella replayed the feeling in her mind, the rush of exhilaration, the wind blowing in her face, right down to hitting the ground and the numbing pain that seemed to put her soul at peace for a few moments. If the truth will set you free, then pain should emancipate. Seeing as pain is truth.

Kyira laughed again,
"Only you can feel pain like that and enjoy it Bella."
Kyira dragged Bella along as she skipped to the local mall, which of course was in near ruins and was abandoned. The only store which held any interest to her was the Hot Topic near the back, which was in pretty good condition.

Bella smiled, her legs still not quite functioning as she let Kyira drag her in. "You know what, I'm hungry. Just drop me off at the food court." Bella laughed half-heartedly. Committing suicide always left her a bit... drained. C'mon. There has to be some good that hasn't passed it's expiration date. Her green eyes were a bit dull and almost lifeless.

Kyira walked in behind the food courts counter and found a freezer with hotdogs in it.
"Let's see if the hot dog cooker still works, or if they're is any electricity still working in this place."
Kyira flipped the switch and smiled as the cooker slowly started turning, with 4 hot dogs rolling around inside.
"Good, we have food."

Bella ripped a chair off the ground with one arm and pulled it over to the hot dog cooker, "Great! I'm starving." she kept thinking on the intense pain of her grumbling stomach. And to think, she smiled, I can embrace the pain of jumping off a rooftop, but I can't bear a little stomach ache.

Kyira laughed whole heartedly and speared a hot dog with one of the plastic forks.
"Condiments my dear, or shall I break another bone of yours, if that would be more bearable?"
Kyira laughed again with a gleam in her eye.

"Hm... mustard, relish, cheese... Just put a little of everything on there." She stopped, "Everything edible. I better be specific with you around. And no. If you did that with the intent of breaking a bone, it wouldn't heal back. And you never know when you need to fight with all these creatures around." She thought back on times when someone has punched her or done something for the sole purpose of hurting her and how it took forever to heal back properly. "See what I mean? I don't have time to wait a month just for a broken bone to heal."

"Alright then..."
Kyira dumped all the edible things she could on both hot dogs and handed them to Bella.
"Eat up, we not find much aside from this."

Bella sighed and tried her best to wrap her small mouth around the hot dog, "Your right. With all these people gone, No one packages anything anymore." She finally managed to take a big bite and smiled, "Ish gwood!" her voice was muffled by the food in her mouth. She swallowed, then laughed, "You gonna get anything? Don't let me hog it all."

"I'm not hungry right now, besides, where I'm living, which so hilariously an expensive condo on the south side of town, is stocked with food. I do wish you'd come live with me there."
Kyira laughed.

"I don't want to take any more that I have to." Bella nodded her head, "Especially with the world ending and all. You never know who is up there watching what we do." Bella smiled, then spun her head around as a huge, lizard-like beast sniffed the ground on it's way into the food court, "Speak of the devil." Bella muttered and hid behind the counter.
The creature looked up at Kyira, and a hungry expression passed over it's face. Food... Must eat...

Kyira mentally lifted the creature up and spun it around.
"Wonder what he wants to eat..."
Kyira chuckled as the thoughts of two males entered the mall, curious to the voices the heard.
