It's The End Of The World (As We Know It): R.I.P.

Jason nodded slowly. "i know bella, but it's the way it has to be" he said softly to her. he gently kissed her cheek, something he never thought he would do. it was done in hopes of calming her down. "don't worry about me. You can find me again. i just can't stay with you guys" he said softly. He moved closer to her and was now so close there was hardly a few inches between them.

Zane smiled, genuinely pleased. "Great! Kyira, I'm going to fly around for a little while. I don't want Adrian getting air sick on us." He slid his hand out of Adrian's for a second while he took of his shirt and tied it around his waist. He wrapped both arms around Adrian, his firm, muscled chest warm against her back. "Ready?" He whispered in her ear, his wings bursting forth from his back. A black feather landed on the bridge of her nose.
She is so pretty... I am so lucky that she dosen't seem to mind hanging out with me.

Bella nodded her head, sniffing again, but she didn't seem to notice the closeness. Her face was turned downward, her eyes looking at her feet while she wiggled her toes.
Why does everything always turn out like this when I'm involved?

Kyira burst out laughing at Adrian's thoughts.
"Honey you wish!!"
Kyira could hardly breath for a moment.
"M, oh man hurry back so I can get my clothes on and tell you what this chick thinks!"

Marcello came back with an armful of clothes, "Here, Kyira. I didn't know what size you wore, so I got one of everything." he laughed as he tossed Kyira a few extra large shirts.

Kyira sorted through the clothes until she found her size.
"Woah baby, Tokio Hotel, sweet! Ha, skinny jeans too? Thanks M, you know my style"
Kyira laughed and put on the dry clothes.
"Oh and...Adrian thinks I'm using my new buddy to make Zane jealous. To tell the truth, I actually don't like Zane that much now." Kyira whispered.

"R-ready" Adrian said nervously as she brushed the feather off her nose.
Jesus H. Christ, this boy is a god! I love his tatoos!
Her legs suddenly felt like jello, not only because of that fact that she was going to be several feet above the ground while not in a plane, but also because of how nervous she was to be this close to Zane.

"Oh yeah, M I forgot to tell you and Bells about this, but I figured out a way to fly myself. Since I can lift up everyone else with my telepathy, I tried lifting myself, and it totally worked."
Kyira said this while she floated a few inches off the ground to prove her words.

Jason released her hands and gently put his arms around her. "don't worry about me. you can see me again soon, i just can't live with you guys" he said softly he held her close to him and gently tilted her head up to look at him. "i won't be farther then i must" he said softly.

Zane smiled at Adrian, then beat his wings, lifting the two of them slowly off the ground. With each beat of his wings, the muscles in his chest tightened and loosened. His heart beat could be felt by Adrian. With a burst of incalcuable speed, he flew outside and up into the sky.

Marcello laughed at Kyira, "Well, I hate to break it to you, but that's what it looks like to everyone else. Maybe you should just make it a point to stop showing off in front of Zane." He shrugged, then started to walk off, "I'm going to look for Bella. See you later!"

Bella nodded, sniffing one last time before she collapsed on the ground, completly unconcious.

Jason kneeled with her as she fell. He didn't know why she had collapsed like that. He was worried as he pulled her gently on to his lap. From her breathing he knew she was alive but still he was a bit concerned that she had collapsed like that. "bella? bella wake up" he said softly, gently shaking her hoping she would wake up from this.

Marcello came around the corner, "Bella! Jason! Where are you two?" He shouted, then saw Bella on the floor. He looked up a little, seeing Jason with her, "What happened?" He shouted as he ran over to Bella's side. He brushed some of her hair out of her face, "It looks like she's just running out of energy. She has to work pretty hard to keep herself in one piece." He sighed, "Everyone is going on over. You coming?" Marcello asked, lifting Bella onto his back.

Jason sighed and shook his head. "no i'm not. take care of bella for me" he said. before marcello could ask anymore Jason was running in the opposite direction and dissappeared into one of the stores. he hoped bella would understand when she woke up.

Adrian's breath hitched in her throat as she looked down, and immediately wished she hadn't. Zane flew them away from the ground at a nauseatingly fast pace, the charred remains of buildings and trees growing steadily smaller.
She clapped a hand over her mouth to keep from screaming, but she could have sworn she felt herself slipping. She quickly got a death grip on Zane's arms which were wrapped around her.
The rush of the air around her and the bobbing motion they made with every beat of his wings made her feel sick, but with Zane's strong arms around her and his muscular bare chest pressed angainst her back, she felt somewhat safe.
Oh crap oh crap oh crap! I should have told him I hate heights!

Marcello made a curious face and walked back toward the fountain with Bella on his back. Maybe Jason didn't know about Bella's... illness. She was sick, though because of her gift, it wouldn't ever kill her. Instead, whenenever it decided to strike her, it would take a huge bunch of her energy and render her immobile for long periods of time. That was one reason she ate so much. SHe had to keep a lot of energy stored up in case her illness struck again. Thankfully, it didn't seem to be contagious. No one had gotten it out of their group. as much as he hated to think it, it was probably best that it was Bella instead of someone else. Anyone besides her would have been dead by now. That didn't mean he didn't hate to see her collapse on the ground like that. It hurt him every time.

Zane smiled, his pitch-black hair (which was cut like Sasuke's from Naruto) blowing behind him, "Are you doing ok?" He asked. He asked her if she was alright at least once every twenty seconds. If she felt even the slightest bit uncomfortable, he was willing to land and let her get her bearings. In case she felt like she was slipping out, he pulled her up closer to his face.

"Y-yeah, I think I'm okay. Just a little nervous. You know, first-time jitters." Adrian said as calmly as she could. She took her hand off Zane's only to brush her hair out of her face, then it resumed it's deathgrip on him.

Zane laughed, "If it makes you feel better, Bella was more scared than you are now. And she can't die unless someone is trying to kill her. Though I don't know why anyone would. She is freakishly nice to everyone." He tossed his hair back withoutusing his hand in cute hair flip-type movement. "Do you mind if I try something more... daring?" He smiled mischeviously.

Jason sighed when Bella was gone. He didn't know of her illness. He wandered through the store, first pulling on a shirt with the word, LONEWOLF in big bold letters across his back shoulders, and a picture of a howling wolf on the front. after that he looked through bed, bath and beyond to find some things to make a shelter with.

Adrian whimpered. "D-daring? Like Wh-what?" Her knuckles went white as she tightened her impossibly tight grip on Zane's arms. At this point, she didn't care if she sounded scared.

Zane laughed, "Alright. If your scared, I wont." He flew lower to the ground, then landed gracefully on the roof of a big penthouse. "This is where Kyira lives. I like the roof better, though. You can't see the stars from inside." he sighed, pouting just a little. He knew Kyira would make him sleep indoors.

Jason got a few things together and constructed a little tent for himself, in the center of an open area, so if he did lose control he would not hit any of the goods. He sighed. He didn't like being alone, much more so now that he knew there were others alive. He looked at his small home. it wasn't much but it was shelter. he had put a matress inside with a thick blanket to keep him warm during these icy nights. His thoughts turned to bella. he hoped she was safe with her friends. He didn't want anything to happen to her. He sat down outside his tent and looked up through the broken roof at the stars that were starting to emerge from the sky. Even the stars in the sky are never alone...

Kyira sat on her couch, staring out into space.
Vann sat at her feet, watching the small fire she had made in the fireplace.
Nothing seemed right anymore.

Kyira sighed and stood. Something was wrong. She ran out the door and down the stairs.
