It's The End Of The World (As We Know It): R.I.P.

Jason smiled and nodded to marcello. "if i'm not back in an hour don't look for me" he said before leaping from the building, using the flames in his arms to propell him onward towards his stores of herbs.

Marcello nodded, but he knew that if he took too long, Bella would go after him and there was nothing he could do to stop her, seeing as there was no way he would willingly hurt Bella. She was so fragile looking... it was hard for him to believe that this girl had just a little while ago gotten stabbed with a knife and was carrying on as if nothing had happened. She had proved she wasn't invincible, though. Those blue snake creatures had been all to willing to show them that. The only question bugging him right now was, What if there are worse things out there than the blues?

Jason was soon at his stores, gathering them up in a backpack. exactly one half hour later, he was returning, shooting up onto the roof and landing rightnext to bella. "i'm back with my herbs" he said smiling. he was glad none of it had been raided or destroyed.

Bella smiled warmly, "Welcome back!" she gave a light laugh and stood, favoring her injured leg just a bit, and hugged Jason. "Missed you!"
Marcello stood, "Yah. She was about to jump off the roof and go after you." he gave a light, yet envious smile.

Jason smiled and hugged her too. "i missed you too" he said. he looked at marcello. "well i hope you were going to be there and catch her." he said. "now sit down so i can put some herbs on your leg to heal it better" he said gently to bella.

"I was." Marcello nodded, still smiling slightly.
Bella did as she was told and sat back down. For one who had just nearly gotten killed, she seemed to have a lot of energy. She was humming a light, unfamiliar tune and tapping the foot on her uninjured leg. She even seemed to be bouncing in place just a little. Her dark green eyes sparkled with a childish playfulness that one usually only found in young children. But, Bella wasn't a 'usually' case. She was definitely her own person.

Jason opened up his bag and pulled out some yellow berries. he popped a few in his mouth and chewed them before pulling out a sticky solution from his mouth that was from the berry juice. he put this sticky stuff on her leg and covered the wound. "that will keep any more blood from leaving and heal it faster" he explained. He also took something that resembled seaweed and wrapped it around like a bandage. "just to make sure nothing sticks in the medicine" he said smiling. "now just make sure that little wrap stays on and you'll be good as new by tomorrow" he said smiling at her.

"So I have to stay still." She frowned, pouting like a child.
Marcello laughed heartily, "Bella, it's for your own good. Just listen to him, please."
"Alright." Bella pouted, "But I won't like it."
Marcello shook her head, She is just like a little kid.

Jason smirked rather mischiviously. "i never said you had to stay still, i just said to keep the wrap on, and unless you try to pull it off or do something really crazy it will stay on. just for this first half hour do you have to stay still while the sap hardens" he said smiling at her. Jason spit out a bit of leftover berry sap. "believe me you're lucky i don't let you guys do that, it is really foul" he said shuddering. "but if you swallow so much as a drop you'll get really ill so ill be the only one who does it." he said smiling. he was glad to be usefull.

"No! No, I like being near you, it's just, I didn't want you to get dirty." Adrian said, trying to hold back the tears threatening to fall. When she saw the look of hurt in Zane's eyes, she gave him a hug so tight, it made her badly injured arms to ache even more. Next thing she knew, her eyes were slipping closed and her knees hit the ground.

Zane held Adrian up with his arms when he felt her go limp. He held her out for a bit, then stroked a piece of her hair out of her face tenderly. He lifted her up, then carried her inside.

Bella nodded, "Be careful then. I don't want anyone else sick. And besides, if you get sick, I don't think anyone else knows what to do to help you." She blushed crimson then laughed slightly.

Jason smiled at her. "well I could always use an apprentice herbalist healer" he said smiling at her. "and since you can't be killed by accident, you wouldn't be killed if you swallowed something by accident" he said smiling at her.

Bella nodded and laughed, "I couldn't die if I did it on purpose either, if you wanted to get really technical about it." She tossed her head back to get her hair out of her face. Her laugh made her eyes sparkle with amusement.

Jason smiled. "yeah i know which is a really good thing" he said. "i can start teaching you whenever you want to start learning" he said smiling playfully at her. if she did want to learn, that would mean they would be spending, a LOT more time together.

"I'm ready when you are." Bella smiled, her cheeks lighting up a bright shade of red and her dark green eyes seeming to dance in the sunlight.

Jason smiled softly at her and moved closer to her. he held up one of the strange flowers that had saved her. "this is venom's bane. named for the fact that it can cure any poison. to work one must chew up the leaves and make the injured person swallow them, and you must snap the stem and let the fluids from it go into the poisoned wound." he said he held up the yellow berries he had used to bandage her leg. "now these I call sticky berries, for obvious reasons. these are the best thing for bandaging wounds. their juice makes an absorbant bandage and it keeps out infection. though thedownside as i said earlier was the fact that it makes you sick if you swalllow any of it" he said. "that's all you need to learn for right now. ill teach you more as the time becomes right" he said smiling at her.

Bella looked at the flower and the berries, looking them over closely so she could recognize them if she needed to. "Flower. Berries. Got it." She smiled.

Jason smiled and patted her head lightly and ran his fingers through her hair. "very good" he said chuckling. "ill give you another lesson when someone else gets hurt" he said as he continued to run his fingers through her hair. His expression was soft as he watched her.

Bella made a face showing pain, "I don't want anyone else to get hurt. I'd rather not even think about it." She shuddered. It was a weird thing that happened with her. Any time anyone was hurt, she felt like she could feel exactly what they were. A knot formed in her stomach when she thought of Jason getting attacked by the giant blue snake-thing.

"i'm sorry i shouldn't have said that" he said quietly. He gently hugged her. "don't worry about it ill make sure we stay as unhurt as possible" he said softly as he held her close to him. he knew she was thinking about when he had died.

Bella nodded, "It's OK. You didn't mean it." She rested her head on him, then made a curious face as Marcello stood, "What is it?"
Marcello extended his wings. He couldn't take much more of this before he did something he would regret. "I'll be back, Bella. Don't worry about it."

Jason watched him go. he had yet to realize marcello loved bella. he had always figured it was a sister sort of thing. after all, they had known each other a long while, and yet weren't together, what did they expect jason to think?

Vann stood on the roof, still waiting for Zane. He grew a bit agitated at how long it was taking him. For all he knew Kyira could be dead right now!
"Stupid bird boy...I'd be better off on foot than having to stand around and wait on his sorry worthless butt..."

Kyira lay on the clothes still, she hadn't slept for long before she grew cold and woke up. She had closed the doors of the store and turned on a small lamp near her small makeshift chair. She was now reading one of the Twilight books she had grabbed from the bookstore and was reading it before she decided to turn in for the night.

Marcello looked over at Vann, "Need a lift? It would seem as though my brother forgot you."
He looked over at Bella, his eyes showing his love for Bella so obvious, it seemed silly that Bella didn't notice it. She still had a confused look on her face that read as What on Earth is up with him?
