Kyira, Bella, Marcello, and Zane: How It All Began

"How am I biased?" He asked, a curiosity on his face.

"You're saying I'm beautiful, yet you haven't looked around at the other girls who are walking right past you."

"Because they are bimbos." he grinned, "And I don't like bimbos."

"Or you're biased."
Kyira giggled ans stuck her tongue out at Zane.

"Am not!" he laughed, pulling into Kyira's driveway. "I just don't care about them anymore."

"Sure you aren't."
Kyira replied as she pulled out her phone and texted Bella telling her it was all clear.

Zane shook his head, realizing she would not be swayed.
After a few seconds, Marcello and Bella walked up the driveway.

Kyira smiled sweetly at Zane.
"I know you're telling the truth, but bugging you is so much fun."
Kyira hopped out and went to Bella.

Bella stumbled over a stone and fell into Kyira's arms, "Sorry..." She muttered. Her voice was weak and her face was drained of color. Bella's mother would have refferred to this as 'walking dead' because she was still moving, but she looked dead.

Kyira sighed and looked at Marcello wearily.
"Carry her for me?"

Marcello nodded and lifted Bella onto his back. Her eyes immidiately closed as she collapsed onto Marcello's back, her breathing labored.

"She's tired. Let's get her inside and lay her down."
Kyira walked up to the door and unlocked it. Leaving it open for Zane and Marcello.

Marcello carried Bella inside, Zane close behind himto shut the door back. Bella was laid down in her bed and Kyira and the boys sat on the couch.

Kyira sighed and closed her eyes.
"I hope things get better from here..."

Zane nodded, "I hate to point it out, but Bella is looking worse."

"I know, and it's killing me."
Kyira hung her head and sighed.

Zane put his arm around Kyira's shoulder, "All we can do is hold on until it happens anymore."

"Yeah, you're right."
Kyira frowned and laid her head against Zane's shoulder.
I don't know what I'll do when she dies...

Three Weeks Later:
Bella had retained that 'dead' look throughout the entire three weeks. Her mother called her, and talked Bella into visiting, Bella insisted to Kyira that it was just a visit and she would come back, but Kyira could see the hope in Bella's eyes that maybe she was finally wanted by her parents. When she got to her parent's house, they told her all about her only having so long left to live. They locked Bella in her room and she had her phone only long enough to text Kyira to come and get her, when they took her phone. Bella didn't know the message had sent and upon being convinced that she was doomed to die in her room without any loved ones with her, she found a sharp stone in her room, stood on the outside of the window and cut her throat with the rock, sending her body to the bottom of an eight-floor fall, not quite dead, but laying precariously on the edge.

"Come on you two, hurry up! We have to go get Bella now!"
Kyira called from the car impatiently.

Zane and Marcello practically flew to the car, getting in on their respective sides.

Kyira speed down the road to Bella's house, not caring what car she almost hit what person she almost killed. They arrived at the house and Kyira jumped over the bushes to the vines where Bella's room was. She climbed them and saw Bella half way.
Oh gawd, no Bella no!!!

Bella lay in a broken, bloody pile on her families perfectly manicured lawn. Marcello and Zane jumped out of the car while it was still moving and an over to where she was, "We have to get her to the hospital now!" Zane said quickly.

Kyira jumped down quickly, scooping Bella up carefully and running straight to the car.
"Zane, drive! Marcello, you sit back here and make sure she's okay."
Kyira hurried into the passenger seat.

Zane hopped in the driver's side and Marcello climbed in the back, muttering something that sounded like, "I can't believe it."
