Kyira gazed at them in silent awe. She looked at Zane once and reached her hand out, touching them gently.
"They're really soft..." She whispered.

"And creeping me out." Marcello finished, and folded them close to him, to see if he could hide them, and they turned back into the tattoos. "Again, creepy."

"Guess I'm the only normal one around here anymore."
Kyira half laughed as she sat down.

"Maybe you just haven't figured yours out yet." Bella offered.

"Maybe...or maybe I'm just supposed to stay normal."
Kyira sighed as she stared at the remote.

"That's definitely not normal." Marcello pointed at the remote hovering in the air.

"What?"
Kyira turned her head and heard the remote hit the table.
"Who threw the remote?!"

Everyone held their hands up, "None of us did." Zane said sincerely.

"What the bloody hell?"
Kyira stared at Zane with a confused look and gasped when he started floating.
"Oh my gawd!"

"And I'm not flying." Zane grinned. "Having fun?"

"What the hell am I doing?"
Kyira shook her head, as if to make the 'power' leave her mind.

"I don't know, but it's pretty sweet." Bella giggled.

"So now I get to be lazy and make things move for me. Nice..."

Bella froze, her body collapsing on the ground like she had passed out. There was no blood involved this time, though, and no sooner had Zane said that he couldn't get a pulse, did Bella wake back up.
"Her illness can't kill her..." They said at the same time.

"What the hell...?"
Kyira was beyond confused as to what was happening now.

Bella looked out the window at the fireballs, then turned on the TV as the weatherman spoke of strange, erratic earthquakes that seemed to rip across the whole planet.
Her deep green eyes took on a thoughtful, wise expression that no one was used to her having, as if the past five seconds aged her 20 years.

"I think it's the end of the world."
