Kyira, Bella, Marcello, and Zane: How It All Began

Bella ran outside after the two thieves who had just taken her jewelry box, "Hey!! Wait!!" But, they didn't hear her. "Dang it..." She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair, rifling past her mother, father, and sister on her contacts list and hitting "dial" on the name "Kyira". She held it to her ear and waited for someone to pick up.

Kyira was walking idly down the sidewalk on her way to Bella's house when her cell phone rang. She looked at the caller Id and sighed.
"Just the person I was about to go and see, what's up Bells?"

"Um... Actually, I'm not at home." Bella sighed, "I ran away. I'm in an ally behind the Italian restaurant you like. Piccalilli's, I think." she paused, "Anyway, remember those diamonds my dad gave me for my birthday last year? These two guys, brothers I think, just took of with them."

Kyira sucked in a sharp breath and exhaled quickly.
"Stay there, I'll be there in like 5 minutes."
Kyira shut the phone and ran as fast as her legs would take her to the restaurant. As she ran, she kept an eye out for two guys who might look suspicious. Who ever took Bella's diamonds would be lucky to walk once she got her hands on them.

Bella hung up and sat down on the sidewalk examining a scrape on her knee she had gotten while chasing them. Whoever it was had been careful not to hurt her. What kind of thieves were that cautious not to hurt the people they were robbing? She also doubted that they knew what they had stolen.

Kyira slid dangerously around the corner and jumped off the sidewalk, running straight across the street and down the alley where Bella was. As she got closer, Bella's figure became more recognizable. She slowed down and stopped in front of her.
"Bella, are you all right?"

"I'm fine. Just a scraped knee." She said quietly, getting to her feet, "Dad is gonna kill me." she groaned and made a pouting face.

Kyira sighed and looked around.
"Where did they go and what did they look like?"
Kyira intended to hunt them down.

"Um... there were two of them, one with black hair, the other had reddish-brown hair. I think they were brothers. They looked alike in the face." She paused, "Oh! The black-haired one had a lot of tattoos on him. He looked like someone you would date. Really hot."

Kyira sighed and looked around behind her, then turned back to face Bella.
"Hot or not, he stole from you, he's butt is mine to kick. Come on, let's go see if we can find them."

"Um... they went that way about 30 minutes ago. I think it's pretty much useless to try and get them now. They were really fast." Bella crossed her arms over her chest, "His brother wasn't half bad looking either."

"Must you worry about their looks?"
Kyira laughed as she walked out of the alley and back onto the street.
"Come on, let's go to the pizza parlor and get you some food. I just got paid and I'm starving."
This is from the time when Kyira could get as hungry as Bella, eat anything whenever and not gain an ounce.w

"Alright. And hey, I happened to notice that they looked like a pair of gods." Bella grinned miscellaneously.

Kyira groaned and poked Bella in her ticklish spot.
"Enough Ms. Oh Mighty Boy Watcher. Let's go get food. Now!"

Bella laughed and followed Kyira into the restaurant "You would have been paying attention if you had seen this kid's butt. F-I-N-E, fine!" Bella whistled and laughed, "OH! The tattoos I saw were Jack Skellington on his right arm, black butterflies, a cupcake, a syringe, and an AFI logo."

Kyira mentally groaned at how appealing he sounded, but held in the physical groan she wanted to let out.
"Geez Bella, you're gonna make me want to go hunt him down and eat him instead of the pizza."
Kyira laughed quietly as she took a seat and opened a small menu.

Bella sat down, "He did look awfully delicious..." she mused, "Oh well. I don't want you to kill him anyways." she grinned and took her own menu to look at.

"Oh I know you don't want them dead, but I do. I might just save the beautiful one for last, take a few pictures before I Mutilate him."
Kyira mused at this idea.
"Want to get one large pizza or just get two small ones?"

"Large. I'm really hungry." Bella smiled, "And no you won't. Even if you do find them, I'll make sure you don't lay a hand on either one of them. Besides, you might want to date the one of them."

Kyira laughed loudly at that.
"Oh please Bella, dating one of them is the last thing on my mind. Besides, I have this feeling we might not see them for a while. But on the pizza matter, I know you will want quite a bit of toppings, so what do you want your half to have on it?"

"Um..." Bella read over the menu, "Put everything on it." she smiled, then took a napkin and drew a quick scetch on it, "By the way, he looked something like this..."

Kyira held back her expression of surprise, joy and utter yearning for the boy.
"Okay...I'll give him that much, he is unbelievably gorgeous, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a theif and he stole from the wrong person, definitely at the wrong time too."
Kyira looked up as the waitress approached.
"Are you ladies ready to order?"
"Um...yes, we'll have one large pizza, half with everything and half with pepperoni. Oh and a large pitcher of coke and 2 glasses."
"Alright, your order will be out in a few minutes."

Bella smiled, knowing that her drawing didn't even compare to the real thing. This kid even smelled like a god. There was no way Kyira would b able to kill a boy that was that perfect. "Gah! I'm starving!" Bella groaned, rolling over in her seat so her head was hanging upside down off the edge.

Kyira rolled her eyes and pulled out a small bag of mixed candy.
"Here, grab a few of these to at least try and hold off the hunger. So, what shall we do after we eat our meal? Go to the park, the mall, check local pawn shops to see if they pawned off you diamonds?"
Kyira gave a crooked grin at the last option.

Bella snatched the candy greedily and shoved it into her mouth, wrapper and all. After a few seconds, she spat the empty wrappers on the table, "Um... I don't care. I just want food!"
