It's The End Of The World (As We Know It): R.I.P.

Marcello backed up so Jason could get a wider area with which to attack the creature, "I'll fly Bella somewhere safe."
Bella looked confused, "I can't die. Anywhere is safe for me."
Marcello shook his head in disagreement and picked up Bella, flying out of sighed while she squirmed to free herself.

Zane shook his head, "No. We just met up with some old friends. Bella, and Kyira, actually. Bella is like the little sister God forgot to give me and Kyira is... well, she's the one who just threw me into a sign." Zane blushed a bright red and laughed, "You saw me checking my wings, right?"

Marcello flew into the store Kyira and Vann were in. "Watch this." He put Bella down next to Kyira and flew off while Bella pouted.

Adrian smiled. "Yeah, I saw you. Those wings are beautiful. I wish I could fly.... all I can do is burn things..."
She held up her hand and a small orange flame appeared and hovered about an inch above her palm.

"You wanna fly now?" Zane put his hands in his pockets and smiled with the right corner of his mouth raised up, watching the small flame dance around in Adrian's hand.

Jason glared at the creature as it rose up on its hind legs, towering over Jason. Jason growled. the creature lunged with a speed that was almost a blurr. Jason lunged right into it and before long the mall had errupted with the fight. fireballs flew everywhere, luckkly not hitting anything flammable, and claws and teeth flew. Jason seemed to be the only one taking hits. his chest was slashed pretty badly this time.

Adrian quickly realized Zane had spoken and snapped out of her little trance. She had been sort of hypnotized, watching the reflection of her flame in Zane's eyes.
"Oh...um...well, I don't know. I think I might be too heavy..." She said nervously as the small fire in her hand died out.

Marcello flew back in, now confidant that Bella was safe, and pulled the beast off of Jason and threw it against the wall, "You OK?" He asked, before moving out of the way of the creature.

Zane shook his head, "You won't be. I pack things around all the time. Mostly just big bags of vegan food and Bella, but she's small, so I guess that doesn't support my argument." He laughed, his whole face lighting up with it.

"You found some vegan food?! Where?! Ugh, I would love a granola bar right about now. I've been living off whatever canned vegetables I could find for the past month."
She rubbed her belly just as it gave a rather loud growl.

Kyira looked at her arm and saw little spots of bloods appeared on her arm. She sighed and walked out of the store with Vann behind her. She saw Adrian and Zane and decided to just turn around.
Great, Mr. Cocky is flirting again. We're trying to survive and all he thinks about is finding a new hot girl to flirt with. Kyira mentally sighed and sat down on the fountain's edge.

Zane laughed, "Yah. That's one of the good things about veggies. They almost never spoil as long as they stay in the can. And then you can always find some seeds and just plant more." He reached in his back pocket and pulled out a soy granola bar, "Will this do? I almost always have one on me."

Bella followed Kyira out, then seeing Zane, tackled him from behind. "Boo!" she smiled, giggling as if she were high off of something.
Zane smiled, "Hey! Bella, this is Adrian. Adrian, Bella."

Jason clutched his chest. "yeah i'm fine." he looked up and tackled Marcello to the ground just as the beast flew through the air and would have gotten at marcello's heart if Jason hadn't moved him. "never turn your back on this thing" he said before lunging right at the beast, flames engulfing his body. he held his arms at his sides and let jets of flame propel him foward. as the best turned around Jason spun as fast as he could and burned right through the beast. its bloody and hole filled carcass falling to the ground in flames. Jason landed rather hard on the ground, rolling a good few feet. His chest was still bleeding rather bad and in that last encounter he had gotten equally deep gashes in his back. He shook his head trying to stay conscious but a few seconds later his body fell to the ground and didn't move.

"Oh, thank you so much! You are way too nice!" Adrian took the granola bar from Zane, then nearly screamed out of suprise when a girl jumped on Zane's back and yelled "Boo!"
Zane introduced the girls to each other.
Adrian waved shyly, and muttered a hello.

Kyira sucked in a sharp breath as she felt her stomach lurch. She was hungry...great. One human need to tried avoiding and here it lurked its ugly head. She figured she could make it a few more hours, and eat when she got back to her little home.
Vann stared at Kyira with curiosity as she grabbed her stomach and made a face. Maybe she was hungry?
"Kyira...are you okay? Are you hungry or something?"
Kyira just shook her head and looked up.

Marcello's wings went back into his back and he lifted Jason onto his back, "Thanks." He smiled and took Jason into the main area with the fountain.
Bella climbed off of Zane's back and gave Adrian a light punch to the arm, "You'll have to speak up around me. I'm used to this guy shouting at people all the time."
Zane laughed, "Everyone but you." He faced Adrian, "She's way to nice to stay mad at for very long."
Bella smiled and lept of Adrian, hugging her tightly.
Zane laughed again, "So, you like vegan food?"
Bella made a gagging noise as Zane chuckled.
Marcello was standing next to Kyira, "Here." He smiled, handing her a leftover hot dog from Bella's munch-o-rama.

Kyira smiled and took it.
"Thanks M, I didn't want to make Bella feel like she needed to eat little because of me. She needs food more than I do." Kyira said as she ripped off a small piece of the hot dog. She ripped the rest in half and handed it to Vann who took it and held it silently before taking a nibble.

Jason winced in his unconscious state, the red blood oozing scratches turned green with poison. apparantly this beast had poison claws. Jason cried out and his eyes shot open, the wounds were burning, and as deep as they were, the poison was spreading very fast. he felt like his body was on fire, and not the usual kind he was used to.

Adrian smiled and lightly rubbed her arm where Bella had punched her.
"Yeah, I love vegan food. My brother was vegan and he was always trying new recipes he found wherever, since mom wasn't too fond of our diets and wouldn't cook for us, and I volunteered - well, more like was forced - to try whatever he cooked. I'm vegetarian, by the way."
suddenly, she noticed the shirt Zane was wearing. She squealed, rather fangirl-ishly, "Ohmuhgawsh I LOVE AFI! They're my favorite band ever!"

"Bella could eat her weight in food." Marcello smiled, "And she still wouldn't be full. She knows when to share, but you just have to remind her sometimes."
Marcello turned to Bella, who was hugging a girl he didn't know, "Bella! We need your help with something!"
"Duty calls." Bella smiled and skipped off, "Yes?"
Marcello looked at Jason on his shoulder, "It looks pretty bad. I wouldn't have asked you if I didn't think it was life or death."
Bella nodded and pulled her sleeve back as Marcello sat Jason down on the bench. Bella snacked the knife from Kyira and cut her arm open, letting her blood flow down into Jason's mouth.
Zane laughed at Adrian's sudden notice of the shirt he had taken from inside, "I like them, too. And here I thought I was the only fan alive. Anymore." He sighed, "Bella will listen to anything. Especially 80's stuff."
Bella was still in sight from where Zane and Adrian were standing, blood pouring down her arm.

Jason drank the blood, still reluctantly like before, but not nearly so much. the green poison turned to gas and came up from his injuries. He cried out louder then before, the pain intensifying 100 fold. He squirmed as if trying to escape his body and the pain. as the last of the gas burned from his wounds and they closed. his eyes rolled back in his head and his body went limp. he didn't seem to be breathing. Could the pain of healing have killed him?

Bella pulled her arm back, "Jason? Jason, are you ok?" her voice was a little frantic.
Marcello looked at her arm as it healed up, "I-I'm not sure, Bella. I've never seen a bad reaction to your healing."

"You mean 80's stuff like The Cure and Depeche Mode? Or like Twisted Sister?"
Adrian shifted her wieght to her left leg. When she did, she could see around Zane to where Bella and another guy who bore a slight resemblance to Zane were standing, leaning over someone who looked pretty badly hurt.
"Well, um, that's....different...." She said, watching as the blood poured freely from Bella's arm.

Kyira suddenly felt very sick at the sight of Bella's blood, something she was very used to. She jumped from where she stood and streaked to the bathroom, vomiting as soon as she hit the stall. As soon as she felt steady enough, she walked back out and took her seat.
"Sorry Bells, don't know why that made me sick...I'm so used to seeing you do stuff like that..."
Vann hesitantly rubbed Kyira's back, hoping to sooth her and make her feel a bit better.
Man...this girl is full of surprises.
Kyira laughed at Vann's thoughts and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Thanks, that helps."

"Is he ok?" Adrian asked Zane, pointing towards the guy who was passed out on a bench.

Zane laughed, "All of the above. She'll listen to anything." He looked back at Bella, "Oh that? Bella can't die unless someone kills her. Which is pretty handy since she gets into all kinds of trouble."
Bella looked over at Kyira, "I-I'm sorry." She covered her arm up as best she could to avid making Kyira any sicker.
Zane made a confused face, "I don't know."

Jason still showed no signs of life. It had not been her healing that had pained him. the poison, as it was being removed, was what caused him such pain. His heartbeat was faint, and he was on the borderline between this life and the next. it was unknown if he would survive this.

Kyira laughed.
"It's okay Bella, I'm fine now. Don't worry about me. Help him, I'm positive Vann can take care of me if another vomit fit hits me."
Vann chuckled silently as Kyira sighed and closed her eyes, breathing in the cold, fresh air coming from the broken sky light from above. It was getting later, so of course it would get colder.
