"It hit a main artery, if we don't get you to the hospital soon, you're going to suffer major blood loss. You'll need a transfusion soon, or else you'll die. It also looks like it hit a nerve or two."

Angel nodded, Kyira was far more experienced than she was. If she didn't know what to do, then she didn't know anyone that would. She leaned against Kyira, "I-I can't breathe..."

Kyira picked up Angel, rushing her to the parking lot. She found Jason's car and stuck his keys in, which she had snagged when he wasn't really paying attention. She put Angel in the passenger seat and got in the other side. She drove as fast as she could to the hospital and arrived in enough time to get her on there and in the ER.

once he found out how bad it had been, jason took off after a few that ran away. he used his flying to find them and dispatch them to hell where they could pay for what they had done. he didn't know it, but he had type O blood, which meant his could be used for infusions with any other type. it was on file but he never took the time to remember it.

Angel had passed out on the way there and didn't look like she was snapping out of it any time soon. Her eye lids were closed gently over her blue eyes, and her face was pale as snow.

Jason walked into the hospital. he found out where she was from the receptionist and immediatly headed in her direction. he prayed she was alright. if she died he would definately never take on another partner. losing two would just break his heart.

Kyira paced outside Angel's room, waiting for the doctor to come out and give the news. Her gut feeling told her it wouldn't be good.

he looked at kyira. "did they have any blood to transfuse for her?" he asked. he was scared, and it showed in how much his face lacked color.

The doctor came out and shook his head, "I'm sorry. She's gone."

Kyira's head hung low. She punched the wall and cursed.
"Damn...she was a good person too..."

Jason's whole face lost every ounce of color. "if this is some kind of sick joke you better speak up" he said, his voice hoarse. "what killed her?" he asked. if they told him fast enough he may be able to do something. he had found out his legs had some high tech medicin stuff.

Kyira looked at Jason.
"Blood loss, it hit a vital artery. It also damaged a very sensitive nerve."

Sebastian looked up at Kyria from where he was sitting on the floor across from Angel's room. "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be fine. They'v-" He was cut off as the doctor announced the news. He just hung his head and said nothing.

"Your friend is right. There wasn't anything that anyone could have done to save her. It was a miracle she lived longer than a few seconds."

Kyira just sank to the floor, shaking her head and sighing. She didn't know Angel well, but she thought she was an amazing person.

Jason didn't say anymore. he turned and left. he didn't head to the office. for the first time in his life, he headed to the tavern. why did he have to ask her out? because of him she was out of the office and dead now... he sat down at the bar, his head low. he just lay down a lot of money on the bar. with that he tried to drink his sorrow away...

Sebastian looked from Kyria to Jason before he walked off. They were both not in the best of shape... Kyria was depressed and Jason was probably almost suicidal. Then again, Sebastian wasn't doing that well himself, either. "I... uh, I'll call Harry...." He said, standing up.

Harry answered his phone when Sebastian called, "Hello?" he asked, his voice sounded tired.

"Uh, Harry? Its me, Sebastian... I have some grim news to say the least."

There was the sound of movement from the other end, then a sigh, "Well, spit it out. I'm very busy."

"Miss Sawyer has been killed." He said into the phone.

There was a long silence, "You mean Angel?" He said softly.

Jason wasn't 'almost' suicidal, he was definately suicidal. He was trying to get drunk enough to kill himself. he didn't want to be alive after letting angel get killed. he didn't want to be alive when she was so much more deserving of life.

"Yes." Sebastian replied silently. "She took a bullet to the shoulder, and it severed an artery and damaged a few nerves, sir."

There was a long silence, "She was a good girl. A good agent, too. You would do well to be half the assassin she was."
