Zane grinned, "Give her time. Bella is an acquired taste."

Marcello chuckled and nodded.
"True, very true."
He looked in the rear-view mirror to see Kyira snoozing with her head against the window.

Bella grinned playfully and took a bottle of water one of Marcello's friends had left in the car, leaned over her seat, and dumped it on Kyira's head.
Zane shirked back in his seat, "WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!"

Out of instinct Kyira grabbed Bella's throat and squeezed tightly.
"Never...do that...again..."

Bella giggled a little, "It was funny, but OK."

Kyira felt her head and groaned loudly. She buried her head in the seat and mumbled loudly about her ruined hair and now ruined make up. She hated to be seen with unfixed hair or make up, especially around Zane.
Marcello sighed.
"Kyira, you need to learn you don't need make up or your hair fixed. No one cares what you look like with or without it."

"She's still beautiful to me." Zane said, putting his arm around her shoulder lovingly.
Bella shrugged, "She looks better than I do."

"Whad the helg would you know aboot who looks bettwer?" Kyira mumbled. ((Bad spelling intended))
Marcello looked at Bella as he parked the car.
You both are equally beautiful. So don't start that whole you look better fight again."

Bella sat cross-legged in her seat again, "As you wish." she smiled playfully. She knew that Kyira looked a thousand times better than she ever could and was fine with that.
Zane kissed Kyira's cheek as he got out of the car and opened Kyira's door for her.

Kyira stumbled out and leaned against the car, her hair hanging from her face and head in hand. She shook her head and sighed.
Marcello opened Bella's door, scooping her out and holding her bridal style. He grinned at her and took her inside.

Bella smiled and laughed, knowing that at this rate, she would never have to walk again.
"What's wrong?" Zane asked Kyira.

Kyira pointed to her hair and made an odd whimper noise. She really hated her hair when it was wet or undone.
Marcello set her done on the couch and sat beside her, arm around her and a smile permanently plastered on his perfect face.

Zane sighed, "Come inside and we'll take a hair drier to it."
Bella smiled a crooked smile, "What are you smiling about?"

"What shouldn't I smile about? I finally have what I've waited 200 years for. There's nothing to frown about, except Kyira and her stubborn attitude maybe, but even that can't ruin my happiness."
Kyira nodded and walked in, head still down as she walked into the bathroom and pulled out the hair dryer. She brushed it out good before she handed the dryer to Zane.

Zane got Kyira to flip her head over as he dried her hair most of the way, then had it right-side up for the rest of it.
Bella smiled, if she could have blushed, she would have.

Kyira frowned. She felt bad having to make Zane do this for her, but she sucked at it. She could put her hair up, but drying it straight was something she couldn't do.
Marcello kissed the top of Bella's head and laid his on hers smiling.

Zane smiled, happy with his work. He was awfully good with hair for a straight guy.

Kyira smiled and started shaping it back the way it should go. She also put on more make up since it was ruined by Bella.
"There, I'm pretty again."

Zane kissed her forehead, "You were pretty to begin with."
Bella had turned herself upside down where her head was on the floor where her feet should be.

Kyira sighed and wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him.
"I know, to you I was anyway."
Marcello chuckled at Bella. She was quite...random.

"And I'm biased, right?" Zane smiled sarcastically. That was always what she said.

Kyira grinned.
"Yes, yes you are. You're biased to me. I always have to be pretty, beautiful, or whatever you think up."

"You forgot gorgeous." Zane kissed her cheek.

Kyira made a face.
"Bleh, don't put my name and that word in the same sentence. I do it not justice."

"Oh, but you do." Zane smiled, taking her by the hand and sat down with her on the couch.
