Vampire Diary Ch 5: Prince of Darkness

Bella nodded, "That one is acceptable." she said simply, brushing her hair out of the way and tilting her head so he could get to it.

He chuckled a bit. "What did you expect me to say?"

"Honestly, I don't know what to expect any more." Bella sighed.

He just chuckled a bit and slid closer, his mouth going to the crook of her exposed neck. He gently bit down, giving her a sharp pain before a numb, almost enjoyable feeling took over as he began to suck on the bitemarks.

Bella closed her eyes, sort of enjoying the feeling, though she had never felt anything like it before. This was the first time a vampire had drank from her, even though she had lived with Dianne.

Adrian continued to feed from her, though after a few more moments he pulled back, smiling at her. "Told you it isn't that bad."

"It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." She admitted, "I have to say, I kind of enjoyed it." she blushed.

He smiled at her. "Told yah so."

Bella blushed, biting her lower lip nervously.

He smiled and chuckled a bit. "What?" He asked.

Bella blushed and smiled, "It was kind of fun."

He grinned. "Anytime Bells, any time you want." He said, smiling.

Jason was eating quietly, his ears laying back on his head. he moved a bit and winced. With all the health problems he had, it was hard to believe he wasn't being held together with duct tape. So far he kept it pretty well hidden. He didn't like anyone to know when he was vulnerable.

Bella looked down for a brief moment, "That's what mom and dad used to call me." she tried to smile a bit, "Bells." she looked back up at Adrian, "Not that I don't like it. I actually kind of do."

Jason yawned a bit. He was starting to feel a bit sick. It was probably the beef he had just eaten. he just sort of flopped down on his side and closed his eyes trying to ignore it.

Zane sat next to Jason, "You holding up alright?"

He smiled softly and put an arm around her, holding her a little, while his other arm held his sister. "Sorry to bring up bad memories...."

Jason shook his head. "i really dont think so" he murmured. he was shaking a bit. "my immune system is pretty much sh*t from me not eating or sleeping enough" he said in a whisper. "i think a simple cold could kill me at this point" he murmured just barely opening his eyes to look up at zane. "I tried to kee you guys from finding out but ive been sick since this whole thing started.... i think my body's finally giving out on me" he murmured

"Well, it's probably going to be a while before we get moving again, so use this time to rest. Things will get better." Zane smiled, ever optimistic.

Bella nodded, "It's OK. You didn't know. And quite honestly, I think I prefer it. It separates my mother and I. Even if it's just a little while."

Adrian smiled a bit. "Then I'll call you that more often."

Bella smiled, "Thanks."

Adrian nodded a bit and looked around awkwardly for a moment before looking at Bella and leaning in, pecking her lips softly.

Bella was a bit surprised, blinking a bit. She wasn't sure what to say. She hadn't been kissed before, seeing as the only people she had ever seen were Dianne, Dianne's boyfriends, Bella, and Marcello.

Adrian just smiled a bit and chuckled, shaking his head.

Bella blushed, "What?"
