Vampire Diary Ch 5: Prince of Darkness

"The way you reacted." He said.

"It's a new thing to me." Bella smiled, still blushing.

Jason sighed and shook his head. "zane i really dont think i'm going to survive this one" he said opening his eyes slowly. "why is it so cold in here?" he muttered even thouggh it was actually rather warm.

Adrian smiled back. "I'll have to make it a normal thing, then."

Bella blushed a brighter red as Janzelle finished her carving. She handed it to Adrian with a smile, "Here." she grinned. The carving seemed to be of a bat.

Zane frowned, "Don't say that. Look, take this." Zane offered, sliding out of his jacket. "I'm warm anyways."

Jason looked up at Zane. "stop fooling yourself... Zane I hate to break it to you but i'm not going to make it unless...." he trailed off. "nevermind it's not going to happen so i won't even get your hopes up" he said starting to crawl towards the door s he could, like most animals. die alone in peace.

Adrian smiled and took the carving. "It looks good, Jan."

Janzelle smiled, "You really like it?"

Zane picked Jason up, "Unless what? I'm not going to let you down, so you might as well tell me."

He smiled and nodded, hugging her.

Jason sighed. "unless I get a blood transplant to get some of it out of my body, but the only one here who has my blood type is bella, and adrian just drank from her so the transfusion would probably kill hr right now. besides she loves adrian so i doubt she'd really care if i died so just put me down so i can find a place to rest" Jason said crossing his arms.

((Nathan has the same blood type as Bella....))

Zane looked Jason in the eye, "From what you saw of Bella's mother, what impression did you get?"

Janzelle smiled, "I'm glad you came back for me. I haven't heard the voices since we left."

Adrian smiled and hugged her. "That' good."

"from her mother, i've gotten the impression that her mother would put everything before herself. I don't see it that much in her daughter though." he said sighing. "or maybe i'm just being jealous since wel... you already know" Jason said. "just put me down so i can die with the small amount of pride i have left" he said sighing.

Zane did his trick to knock Jason out, then pulled him over to the hay stack and sat him next to Bella. Bella jumped. "It's OK. He's not doing well."
"What do you mean?" Bella asked.

Jason's breathing was very faint. It almost looked like he was dead already.

"He said something about a transfusion. Adrian, you know anything about it?"

"I heard him mutter something about needing a blood transfusion from Bella. If it matters, Nathan has the same blood type as Bella." He said. ((I think. You'll have to check back in on the original thread.))

((Wow... You're good. They do have the same blood type.))
Zane nodded, "Would he be willing to do it?"

((As long as something isn't important, I'll remember it.))
He shrugged and looked to Nathan, who nodded.

Zane smiled, "Good. Now, the only question is how we're going to do this... I'm not exactly a medical professional."

He shrugged. "I suck blood, not give it." He said.

Zane sighed, "Nathan? You know?"

He shrugged a little. "I once saw something similar, I think...."

"Could you imitate it?" Zane asked.
