Vampire Diary Ch 4: Enter Castle Dracula

Zane climbed out of the carriage at the beginning of the path to the Castle. They couldn't go any farther by carriage, for the path was far too treacherous, so the rest of the way would be on foot. Next, Kalvin climbed out, helping Bella out, then offering his hand to Kyira so she could get out as well.
"Where's it at?" Bella asked.
"Probably farther along the path." Zane guessed.

Jason was last to get out. "i'll go a bit ahead. if anything wants to attack us, it'll go for me first" he said starting to walk up the path without another word, his ears were shifting constantly on his head for any sound of a threat.

Kyira took his hand and climbed out.
"A hike...how lovely."

Nathan stepped out of the carrige, followed shortly after by Adrian. He (Adrian) had his arms crossed infront of his stomach as if he were ill, and he looked the part, too. He was shivering as he sighed and sat down on a rock nearby.

Bella touched his shoulder lightly, "Are you OK?"
Zane chuckled, "Want me to just fly you ahead?"

Adrian shook his head to both questions.

Zane looked over to Kyira, "What about you?"

"Wouldn't hurt..."
Kyira replied half distracted.

Jasno was starting to get farther ahead. he had never really felt like part of their group anyway. he kept thinking he heard something comming towards him, but every time he turned his head in that direction, the sound started comming frm somewhere else.

Zane nodded, holding out his arms so he could hold onto Kyira. Kalvin cast him a bit of a jealous look, but didn't say anything.

The sound near Jason stopped, then ran on ahead into the castle.

Adrian threw up behind the rock he was sitting on then whiped his mouth, standing up and begining to walk down the path.

"The vomiting was for what exactly good sir?" Kyira asked with a roll of her eyes.

Jason didn't like this. whatever was watching him was now waiting at the castle. He felt like he wasn't in his body. it was like he was watching a slasher movie. He knew something was waiting ahead, but he didn't know what...

Zane picked up Kyira, waiting for her O.K. to take off, while Bella rested her hand on Adrian's shoulder, "Are you sure you're OK?"

Jason's stomach was in knots. he didn't like something here. He looked back towards the others and noticed they weren't anywhere near him. he was already at the door. He sighed. at least if he was killed bella wouldn't have to see him die. He pushed open the door and stepped inside slowly, expecting at any second for that creature to attack him.

As far as he could see, there was no one in the castle, nor had their been for several decades. Cobwebs big enough to wrap Bella in were strung across the stairs, and dust covered everything. All the furniture had white sheets draped over it that had huge holes in them from moths.

"just like a haunted house" Jason mused. "If anyone is here show yourself" Jason called, his voice echoing off the walls. sure he may be calling trouble but better he face it first than have it ambush everyone.

There was a giggle from one end of the room, then a maniac laugh from the other, but no other response.

"be you ghost, banshee, or other creature come forth and be seen" Jason called again, ready for just about anything.

"Make me!" it called in a high-pitched voice that seemed to come from everywhere and no where all at once.

Jason thought on this. how exactly COULD he force this creature out of hiding. "I have cookies?" he said more as a question wondering if possibly it woudl be enough.

Adrian shook his head again at Bella. "Long story."
((@Kyira: To show off/overuse drama/draw attention. And he has a nervous stomachm ATM ))

"You can fly now emo bird," Kyira said with a laugh.

((I know xD But what's with the wink? Should I have taken that in a pervy way? And he's going to be kmind of emotional and story-telly in this chapter >_> ))
