Westfield High School: R.I.P.

"You called me Bella." She breathed in incredulous shock. It had been twenty years since he had last called her by her name.
Zane was frozen in shock as well.

Kyira turned and saw the passing, not wanting to be around to ruin the moment for them, she grabbed Zane's hand, putting a playful face on and smiling.
"Hey Zane, wanna see who can go to the stream I hear over there first?"
Kyira winked as to show him to say yes.
Marcello hesitated while Kyira tried to get Zane away, he wanted to do this right the first time.

"OH!" Zane said, finally getting it, "Yes, yes, um... of course!" He got up and ran off.

As Kyira and Zane disappeared off into the distance, Marcello grabbed Bella's hand holding it gently, but firmly in both of his.
"Mis-...Bella...you honestly have no idea how long I have waited to finally get enough courage and strength to tell you this. Ever since we were kids, I knew it was you I'd marry, I knew it the pit of my soul. i know now that I do love you...as much as anyone could possibly love another person. All I'm asking now, is to know if you feel the same for me."

Bella was frozen in shock. She had always loved Marcello. It started out like how you would love a brother, then it grew. She hadn't said anything because the time period she was raised in prohibited it, but still... She had hinted.
"I-I do, Marcello. I love you."

Marcello's face broke in a victorious grin. He looked like a man who had just won the grand lotto prize. He let go of her hand, only to put his hand under her chin, tilt it up and kiss her sweetly on the lips. A fiery passion behind his eyes and it was detectable in this kiss.

Bella's fingers tangled themselves in Marcello's reddish-brown hair, pulling him closer to her as she kissed him back, returning the passion with an intensity beyond anything anyone knew she was capable of.

Marcello felt himself smile as he gently placed his hand on her cheek, it felt to him as if it burned into her. He wrapped his arm around her waist and lifted her up slightly with his one arm.

Kyira landed at the edge of the creek with a smug expression.
"Beat you loser!"
She stuck her tongue out and giggled.

Zane was in the creek, muddy water dripping from his hair as he pouted, "You pushed me... no fair..."

Bella clung close to him, still kissing him passionately. She put one of her knees down so he wouldn't be distracted by holding her.

Kyira laughed.
"I'm sorry sweetie."
She held her hand out to help him up.

Marcello pulled back and set her down, smiling at her and brushing the hair out of her face.
"Now, I think I've pretty much done what I've wait to do for the past 200 years. And I'm ready to spend the rest of it with you."

Zane took her hand and got up, but then slipped on a mossy rock and fell right back in. "Damnit!"

Bella wasn't near done yet, but she realized the reasoning in Marcello's thoughts. "I know."

"Well Bella, since we are well over 200 years old, I think it's time we settled down, in the marriage sense. Considering Zane and Kyira beat us to that about 3 years ago."
Marcello wasn't really pushing her, he just wanted to be able to call her his for the rest of eternity.

Kyira laughed and stood on a some what dry rock and lifted Zane out, then dash to the bank and sat him down.
"Zane, you're hopeless sometimes."

"Sometimes?" Zane smiled quizzically, "More like all the time. I don't know what you see in me."

Bella thought for a second, while they had known each other for over 200 years, they had never technically dated. Was this the right move to make? After all, for them, this would last literally forever.
"Yes. I agree."

Marcello smiled at her, with a smile that could put Edward Cullen to shame.
"If you want to wait, I'll understand."

Kyira gave Zane a crooked grin and laughed a bit.
"I could ask you the same thing."

"Oh, but answering that is easy." Zane smiled, "You're beautiful, you're smart, you are the most amazing person I have ever met, and you're willing to put up with me."

Bella smiled meekly, "My only concern is that we've technically never dated. I mean, even though we've known each other for a really long time, I want to give our romance a try before we commit to anything this big. After all," she laughed, "I am a hormonal teenager."

"Bella love, we lost our hormones a long time ago. But I'm willing to wait as long as you want to."

Kyira rolled her eyes.
"Beautiful, yeah right. And I put up with you just because your hot."
Kyira said the last part knowing he knew she was kidding. She's told him about 1000 times why she loved him and they haven't changed yet.

"I'm allowed to be crazy as long as I'm hot, is that it?" He smiled playfully. "Alright, then you can be in a flippin' straight jacket and I still will put up with you."

"Oh, mine still work." Bella assured him, "You should see what's going on up here." she tapped her forehead.

Marcello bent his mouth to her ear and whispered.
"So I'm assuming you're not over that kiss just now?"

Kyira wrapped her arms around her back and started thrashing wildly.
"I SEE DEAD PEOPLE!"

"Is that so, sweetheart?" Zane smiled and kissed her lips gently.

Bella shook her head, "Nope. Not even a little."

Marcello chuckled and kissed her neck so lightly it felt like a feather sweeping across her neck.

Kyira smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.

Zane held her close to him, pressing his lips more firmly to hers, but still he was gentle.

Bella shivered with pleasure, "You aren't helping." she said jokingly.

"Can't I be a tease now Bella?"
Marcello smiled as he kissed her neck.

Kyira ran her hand through his hair before hanging on to a good hunk of it. She felt a small shudder rip through her as she pressed herself closer to him, despite how wet he was.

Bella smiled flirtatiously, "Yes, but it's more fun if I pretend to protest."

With Kyira's weight on him, it was hard to keep his balance. Zane fell back in the grass, Kyira on top of him.

Marcello grinned and pulled his head back. He liked messing with her, just for a laugh.

Kyira started to laugh and rolled over on her stomach.
"We get too carried away sometimes."

"We do." Zane agreed, "But it's fun, right?" He rolled onto his side and rested his head on his hand, looking Kyira in the eye like a good boy.

Bella smiled and smacked his arm lightly, "What is so funny?"
