The King's Castle

He grinned. "There's a good chance that I couldn't. But that is where my power lies." He said, pressing the tip of the blade to her stomach.

Elizabeth gasped a bit, recoiling.

He grinned and dragged the blade across her abdomin, making a hole large enough to work with.

Elizabeth cried out, her back arching as she screamed, tears forming in the corners of her eyes.

Lucian grinned a bit. "Was it worth it?" He asked as he used a silver instrument to hold apart the wound.

Elizabeth clenched her teeth, speaking through it, "Yes... I'd do it again."

"Oh... well, I'm sorry to hear that." He said, plunging his hand into her.

Elizabeth clenched her teeth together to keep from screaming, her hands clenched tightly.

Lucian grinned as he pulled out some organ, apparently not vital seeing as she hadn't died. That, or he had some spell to keep her alive. "Can you guess what this is?" He asked.

"Not a clue..." she said breathing rapidly.

He grinned a bit. "Well, to you, it's useless. But to me, it's worth it's weight in gold. I think you've attoned enough for the moment." He said, standing. He stowed away the organ before returning to her. He removed the instrument from her wound, and slathered some gellish slime on it. "That will stop the bleeding, and heal it; without scarring. Sadly, it only works on living flesh." He said, letting the corpses fall into a lifeless state again before picking her up and replacing her into the cage.

Elizabeth's body shivered, pulling itself into a ball.

"If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask." Lucian said, laughing a bit.

Elizabeth glared up at him, angrily. She wasn't quite ready to give up yet.

"What? You didn't see that comming?"

Elizabeth curled up, her body trembling heavily. She eventually either fell asleep or passed out, still shaking.

Lucian smiled slightly before making his way to his own, soft bed.

Morning...

Elanor was leaned up against a tree near Jason, "Lost yet?"

Dianne woke softly, smiling a bit, then stretching without getting up.

Elizabeth was still asleep, her teeth chattering so hard, she had bitten her tounge and blood was dripping from her lips.

Adrian smiled. He was still asleep, his arm around Dianne.

Lucian smiled a bit as he crawled out of his bed. He grabed the sheets off of his bed and tossed them through the bars to Elizabeth. They were very, very warm.

Dianne smiled, looking over at Adrian and running her hand gently along his cheekbone.

Elizabeth woke a bit, but still mostly asleep, she had only woke enough to pull the sheets over her and fall back into slumber.

Adrian's eyes fluttered open slowly.

Lucian smiled as he took the person in the cage next to her; almost her turn....

Dianne stroked his cheek again, "Sorry if I woke you."

Elizabeth didn't wake, instead subcounciously pulling the blankets close to her. She had pulled herself into a ball, almst as though she were trying to guard against the outside. Her cheeks were wet, as were her eyes, and they glistened from tears. She made a sound like soft sobbing, crying in her sleep.

Adrian smiled. "It's not a bad thing if I wake up to see your face."

Lucian smiled a bit. "You look so cute like that...." He mused.

Dianne smiled, blushing a bit, "I'm flattered. Thank you."

Elizabeth didn't wake up, still sleeping, looking like a scared child.

"You're quite welcome." He said, kissing her softly.

Lucian grinned as he began to work on the other person, who in turn began to scream.
