The man looked over at him, his eyes seeming to glow red under his glasses.
"I'm not going." Artemis insisted, but before she was even done speaking, one of the men had fired a tranquilizer into her back and she fell.

Trevor bent down for a moment, shocked, before grabbing Art and running. After, of course, decking one of the men in the jaw.

They made it to the car, the man that Trevor had punched's glasses falling off. When he stepped outside, his eyes were shown to be red bulbs, as if he were a machine instead of a man.

Trevor tossed/set Artemis into the passenger seat before hopping over it into the drivers seat. He turned the keys and sped off.

After a long while, Artemis woke back up, "mmph... That wasn't fun..." she muttered.

He chuckled a bit. "If we get somewhere where I can stop, I'll see if I can remedy that." He said, winking.

Artemis chuckled, "I bet you could... Who were those guys?"

Artemis sighed, "Great. The guys from the matrix are after me..."

"You've never seen that movie? A bunch of guys in black trench coats with black glasses, black hair and pale skin run around killing people?"

"Oh. The movie. Well, actually, I haven't." He said, shrugging a bit with a smile.

Artemis shook her head, "They wanted me to come with them, so I'm guessing it's something either I have or I know. Unless they need me as bait for someone else."

Artemis nodded, "True. As far as I'm aware, you don't know anything about my family. And to be quite honest, you'd probably rather keep it that way."
