Rebecca sighed, resting her head on Cai's shoulder, "I just... don't know what to do..."

Cai smiled a bit. "About what? This doesn't change anything. You're... you're not thinking of leaving, are you?"

"It crossed my mind, yes. I mean, I thought I never had any parents or anything and all of a sudden, I do... Now I'm not really sure if I want them..."

Jason opened his eyes slowly. yeah i'll be fine. i'm just hurting a bit stil" he admitted looking at his wings that now had red streaks along them.

Rebecca sighed, "You didn't have to follow me."

Rebecca smiled a bit, "You didn't know what I was up to. I could have been rigging up something to try and kill you for all you knew. Why did you follow me anyways?"

He shrugged. "You probably needed someone to talk to. And it helped, didn't it?"

Jason nodded and slowly stood up. "i've never seen weapons like those" he mused. "they explode when they get inside of you" he muttered. "it's almost like angel slayers or something" he said looking at he sky.

"You'd be surprised the weaponry of the more 'modern' humans." M sighed.

Rebecca nodded, "Yeah, it did. As much as I hate to admit it, I needed it." she smiled, "Thanks."

"no it's not the weaponsry that surprize me. it was how they used it" he said sighing.

Rebecca sighed, "Well, actually..." she laughed, "Nah, I would have. You know me too well."
