Vampire Diary Ch 5: Prince of Darkness

Zane nodded, "I have to trust him..."

"I think we all have to" Chancing said as he laid down in some hay

Through the few cracks in the barn they could see jason press the diamond mark on his back. it turned from blue to black and spread markings over his body, sending a shockwave of power against the barn. "bring it on bats." He muttered. He lept up into the air. Within moments the first bats were falling to the ground in pieces. He felt no pain, even as claws dug into his flesh. He just kept bringing down bat after bat.

Jonathan looked over at Zane and Bella "I'm not gonna lie, that's kinda wicked." he said

Jason never hit the ground. He lept at one bat, ripped it to shreds, and pushed off of it to the next one. before long the cloud was a sphere of bats, falling like rain upon the ground in bloody clumps.

Kalvin and Kyira showed up about that time. Kalvin closed his eyes and one of the bats started attacking the other bat coming near Jason.

Jonathan stood up and looked at Zane "Do you think we need to warn them?" he said urgently

Zane shook his head, "No... Kalvin and Kyira know what they are doing."

"Okay, just making sure" Jonathan said and sat back down

Jason roared and kept attacking the bats. his attacks started to become more ferocious... more animalistic.... and more dangerous.

"I can't leave these people alone for more than a minute." Kyira sighed as she held her hands up and aimed towards the bats. Each one become older looking and a large swirling orb of water floated near them. One by one they fell to the ground, dehydrated and slowly dying.

Kalvin's bat kept killing the others, before eventually, it's head exploded.

When the last bat died jason landed on the ground on all fours, growling. His eyes turned red as did his aura. his body got harrier, and his fangs grew. his face started to turn more wolfish. His Demon side was taking over...

"And that my dear friends, is when we get the hell out of here." Kyira said eying Jason.

Kalvin nodded, "Sounds like a plan..."
Janzelle woke, looking around, "Where is everyone?"

Jason let out a howl as a shockwave ripped out of his body and sent kyira and kalvin flying back and almost knocked down the barn. Jason stood up, hunched forward, lips curled back in a snarl. "free at last" he laughed, his voice altered by the demon.

Kyira stood and fixed her head.
"I f*cking hate demons. Low life scum,come on. Let's go. I'd rather not stick around for when the demon hunters arrive."

Janzelle was almost in a drunken state, as she stumbled toward Jason.

Jason turned towards Kyira. "seems I have a first meal" he said smirking. He swung his hand, sending a shockwave that knocked kyira into a tree. He didn't notice Janzelle at all yet, too focused on his next potential meal.

Janzelle blinked as though a bright light were shining in her face, Zane shouting for Janzelle to stand back, but she didn't seem to hear him.

Jason still didn't notice janzelle, even though she was getting closer by the second.

Janzelle collapsed at his feet, her hand resting on his foot.

Jason looked down at her. "well what have we here?" He asked smirking as he nealt down to her. "looks like a little snack" he said licking his lips.

Janzelle woke a bit, wrapping her arms around his neck, as if holding on for dear life.

"what are you doing yo-" the demon voice was cut short as his body started to shake. He shook his head as if trying to shake a fly off his nose. "NO... I won't give up my control" He roared. the hair started to vanish from his body as did his fangs. "NO!" the voice faded out as Jason took control again, his body back to normal with the diamond once more holding in the demon power. Jason was panting. It had not been easy to get control back that time... His body had several large gashes from the fight with the bats. He blinked and noticed Janzelle for the first time. he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "what were you thinking?" He asked in a whisper. When he had seen her through the demon's eyes, he had been afraid the demon would kill her...
