Vampire Diary Ch 5: Prince of Darkness

"She found one." He mused, pecking her on the cheek.

Bella blushed, "I did... And I have to say I like it a lot more than I thought I would..."

He smiled. "Well, I'm flattered."

Bella nodded, curling up next to him, laying her head on his shoulder, "You should be. It was intended as a complement."

He smiled, curling his arm around her. "Good. But I guess I don't have any qualities that could be insulted, so there's not much else to do but compliment me." He mused, grinning.

Bella laughed, "Of course not."

He grinned. "It's good you see things my way."

"It's good I can see." She reminded him, touching her glasses that Zane ha to track down for her.

He smiled. "Only so you can see me, correct?"

Bella smiled, chuckling, "Of course."

He grinned a bit, holding her. "Good."

Jason nodded. "of course we can" he said smiling at her.

Janzelle nodded, walking into the barn with Adrian and Bella. She looked at them, a bit confused.

Jason looked at Janzelle. "what is it?" he asked curiously, not really paying any attention to the others right now

Adrian looked over at his sister. "Yes?"

"What is she doing?" she asked, sitting down and looking at Bella curiously.
Bella blushed a bright red.

Jason sat down next to Janzelle. "my guess is she's trying to get with your brother" he said rolling his eyes a bit.

Adrian grinned a bit and looked at Bella. "Are you?"

"Enjoying the company, mostly." She said, blushing a bright red.

He smiled. "Oh well, my charm will get to you eventually."

Jason rolled his eyes. "Narcissist" he muttered. He stood up and stretched. "i think i might go get some fresh air" he said heading towards the door.

"Pansy." He replied.

"call me that again and i might have to rearrange your face" Jason called back flipping him off before moving out of sight.

Adrian laughed. "You wish."

Jason yawned a bit and just walked for the sake of wandering. he had a song stuck in his head, as usual, and now it made it's way through his voice. "to be hurt, to feel lost, to be left out in the dark, to be kicked when you're down, to feel like you've been pushed around, to be on the edge of breaking down, when noone's there to save you, no you don't know what it's like.... welcome to my life" he sang, mostly just murmuring the last line.
