Zane knew all too well how vulnerable she was. After all, she was only human. And humans were a little bit more fragile than the other species in the group.

Janzelle nodded, "So I'm all grown up now?"

He nodded. "As grown up as you're going to get." He said, smiling.

Janzelle smiled, "So, I won't grow up any more? Like you?"

He nodded. "Nope. You'll stay just as you are forever." He told her, smiling.

She smiled, "So I'm like Peter Pan?" She asked, "I'll never grow any older?" she smiled, as if it had always been her dream. Though she had seemed more excited when she had said she'd be like Adrian, as if that were her true dream.

Janzelle hugged him tightly, "How come daddy had all those books about people dying?" she asked sadly.

Janzelle nodded, "Alright." She said, as if forgetting about it that instant. "What about mom?"

Janzelle rested her head on Adrian's lap, "Why do we forget?"

He shrugged his shoulders slightly. "I really don't know."

Janzelle thought, exhaling, "I'm hungry..." she sighed, though as thin as she looked, one would have thought that she was starved.

Adrian's lips perked up in a sligt smile and he looked up at Jason. "Want to make yourself useful?" He asked.

"let me guess, you want food?" Jason asked not letting his eyes drift from bella for a second.

Janzelle bit her lower lip, "I wouldn't recommend me feeding off of you... I'm really bad about... killing my food..."

Jason shrugged a bit. "wolf demon blood is thicker than human blood. you'd get full long before it killed me" he said.

"I-I don't know if it's a good idea..." she seemed honestly scared to kill him. Then again, with all the scattered skeletons at the Castle that were probably left from her, perhaps she had good reason.

Jason smiled a bit at her. "just bite my arm and i'll be sure to knock you off if you drink too much" he said kindly. "don't worry I won't die" he said.

"I don't know if you could knock me off..." she mumbled, looking over at Adrian, unsure what to do.

Adrian looked at Janzelle. "Try it." He said before looking at Jason. "If this 'Knocking her off' hurts in anyway, I'll break your arm."
