Vampire Diary Ch 3: This Time Imperfect

Adrian grabbed Kalvin's collar and drew back his fist.
((I suggest someone stop him...))

"You're more company for if anyone interesting dies,let's hit option three. Plus he's pretty much useless anyway. All he does is act stupid."

Kalvin raised one eyebrow, "I have to ask Kyira something before you kill me, if you don't mind." he said simply, "Were you just saying you want me around, or, for him to go ahead?"

"I said you stick around. Kill Riot. He's useless and you're not. We're not exactly done yet with this diary business."

Adrian sighed and dropped his fist, letting go of Kalvin.

Kalvin exhaled, "I have to say I'm relieved. Thanks, Kyira."
Zane came back through the window and handed Bella the glasses, "They aren't as strong as what you need, but it should keep you from running into people in the meantime."
Bella nodded and slid them on.
"So, Kalvin, where is he at?"
"Forest. Getting close to some small town with an Airport. He's not sure what its called."

"Shit. He's fast. Know what direction?"

"West." Kalvin said simply.

Adrian nodded and he and Nathan began to run off West.

Kalvin looked over to Kyira, "I need you're help pushing him out of my head. To sever the connection."

Jason was in silver wolf form and had run off not long after adrian and Nathan. more wolves soon fell in line behind him as his siblings got in on the charge.

It didn't take too long for them to see Riot running ahead of them, the Diary in his hand.

Jason growled and lept up on a boulder and flew after riot. He returned to human form and tackled riot very hard to the ground.

Between the three of them, Riot didn't stand a chance. He was dead before he could figure out what had happened, the Diary laying on the ground next to his body.

"The little prick...." Adrian muttered, picking the Diary up.

"I really hated him..." Kyira said,her face grim.

"I wasn't fond of him either...."

Kalvin was quiet, as if unsure of what to do now. His head for once was rid of Riot's voice. It was a new sensation, both nice and unwelcome. He had gone his entire life with Riot and to suddenly have no response to his thoughts made him feel all of a sudden very alone. After all, Riot was his brother. He couldn't really be happy about his death.
Bella stood next to Zane, looking at Riot's body, "It's weird... He's finally quiet... I half expect him to sit up and spout off some smart-a** retort..."
Zane nodded, "I know what you mean."

Nathan walked over to Kalvin and hugged him.

Nathan nodded and stepped back.

Zane nodded toward Jason, "Good job, Jason. You got him down really quickly."
Bella sighed, taking the book and flipping through the pages to make sure it was all still there.

Adrian looked over her shoulder. "Everything there?"

Kyira was staring at Nathan.
"Do you realize that was awkward as hell and looked kinda f*cking disturbing? My god man, next time just...pat him on the back."
