Cai sat smiling on the dome of a Mosque in the city, giving him a good view as he thought over his plans.

M landed next to Cai, "Who are you now, Cai?"

Cai grinned but didn't look at M. "Same Cai, just a different mindset."

"You mean demon? The Cai I know would have never dropped Rebecca off of a bridge. No matter where he was looking at things from." M answered.

He shrugged. "That little prick with the butter knife would have caught her. He had a crush on her from the start, anyway."

M looked Cai in the eyes, "And what caused that to happen? You loved Rebecca before. Do you still now?"

He grinned. "I guess you'll have to wait and see." He said before leaping up, disappearing into the night.

Estelle nodded and smiled while Rebecca woke, "Hu..?" she mumbled lightly, "Wh-where's Cai?"

Jason sighed and looked at rebecca. "that guy you were with.... it wasn't cai... it was a demon that looked like him" Jason said sighing knowing she wouldn't believe him.

Rebecca looked at him disbelievingly, "No, it was Cai. Why am I wet?"

Cai looked down at the ground infront of him, a shard of glass laying on the ground... and grinned as the sun began to rise. Now that he was a demon, he didn't get set in stomne at day.

"because cai dropped you in the river" Jason said. "he tried to kill you"

"he left. he dropped you in the river so i couldn't chase him without you dying" Jason said calmly.

There was smoke on the horizon. Estelle looked over at it, "You can go if you like. I'll keep an eye on her."

Jason shook his head. "that looks like a grassfire to me... not much i can do" he said. "besides, with that demon on the lose it could be a trick to get at you two girls" he said.
