Cai held Rebecca, his hands softly rubbing her back and wings.

Jason smiled at estelle. "i'll be sure to leave you to it then" he said smiling. "want to go fly now?" he asked offering her his hand.

Estelle shook her head, "I'm going to get on that now. It's killing me. You can fly if you'd like, though."

Rebecca slipped to sleep, finally relaxing in Cai's arms.

Jason smiled and nodded. "if you need me just start a small fire and i'll find you" he said kissing her forehead gently before lifting off into the sky.

Cai smiled and held Rebecca, grinning a bit.

Jason saw the two together and his eyes widened a bit. he remembered what M had said. sh*t M where are you when we need you? he wondered as he flew and landed before them. He didn't know what to expect. Cai looked so... normal...

"Oh. Hey there... Jason, was it?"

Guest

"yeah.. but i think the question is, who are you?" he asked. he remembered well what M had said. this cai could just be a demon.

He shrugged. "Just who I look like."

"But as they say; looks can be decieving" he said watching cai. "how could you crumble to dust then be alive again just like that?" He asked.

He shrugged a bit. "We're angels; angels never die."

"there's a slight flaw in your logic. We aren't angels. we just look like we are" Jason said narrowing his gaze. "just ask M and he'll tell you just how we can die" he said drawing hsi sword whhile watching cai carefully.

"Calm down you little prick. Don't draw that on me." He spat.

"watch your mouth. I have little reason to believe anything you say but a big reason to believe you're a demon in disguise" he said watching cai carefully.

"Oh, I'm so scared. And what if I am? You'll zap me with some lightning? Swing your little sword at me?" He taunted, grinning a bit.

"i have every intent to kill you" Jason said narrowing his eyes. "you most certainly aren't cai. you wouldn't manipulate her if you were" Jason said holding his sword ready.

Cai smirked and took a few steps back. "Well, it's kill me," He said hopping up to the bridge railing. "or save her." He said, dropping Rebecca's sleeping body to the river below as he jumped up and flew off, his wings now very bat-like.

Jaosn growled and threw a bolt of thunder after cai as Jason dove into the water, dragging out rebecca not long after. he made sure she was still breathing before flying back to estelle and landing rather awkwardly due to the wet wings.

Cai laughed and disappeared into the night, dodging the lightning.

Estelle seemed a bit confused, "Jason? Is everything OK?"

Jason shook his head. "not right now. You see, this is rebecca, her boyfriend died not too long ago... well he's a demon now.... and i doubt she'd believe a word I say to her." he explained.

Estelle nodded, "I think I remember her. Some guy named Meph... Mephistopi... His name started with an 'm'." she blushed.
