"What do you think he's going to do?" Cai whispered to Rebecca.

"I don't know." Rebecca whispered to Cai.

Cai shrugged and waited to see what they did.

Jason sighed and drew the sword slowly. "okay... but once this is over I want it back" He said. "it's pretty much my only possession" He said. "it was a gift many years ago..." he said trailing off.

M nodded gratefully, "If you want to make sure you get it back, you are welcome to stay with Rebecca, Cai, and myself until we have achieved our goal."

Jason sighed. "i guess I could do that. I just hope i don't get tagged much" he said, knowing full well what kids usually did to statues. "by any chance do you have a spare at least the same size i could use in the meantime?" He asked.

"A sword?" M asked, "Yes, I have a few where we stay."

Jason smiled a bit. "thanks. it's wierd, i've had it for so long i just feel like something's missing if idon't feel the weight on my back" He remarked.

M nodded, "Follow us." he said simply, flying toward the graveyard with Rebecca close behind.

Jason kept his new kitten in his arms as he flew towards the graveyard after them. he wouldn't leave this little kitten alone. people wouldn't think twice about hitting her with a car.

M and Rebecca landed in the graveyard, their spots beneath a great oak tree and a dogwood that's soft flower petals seemed to drift to the ground like snow, giving their spot a sort of pleasant peacefulness to it.
"This is our home, Jason." M said, looking over to Jason with a sense of pride.

Jason looked around at the trees. "definately much nicer than the cave i was living in" he said in awe. he really thought he would like it here.

"It is nicer than a cave." M chuckled and handed Jason a sword that looked remarkably similar to the one he had carried before and still felt the same in his hands, "Will this do?" he asked.
Rebecca crossed her arms over her chest in an angered expression. She didn't like Jason at all. It was worse now that he knew where they stayed.

Jason nodded. "yes this will do" He said as he slid it onto his back. he knew rebecca didn't like him. he didn't really mind her much. he still had his kitten in hand too.

M nodded, "I'm glad you like it. You may keep it if you like." He smiled, intending brag just a bit, "One of the nice things about that sword is that it never dulls, nor will it ever break."

"by saying that you mean it can stop a bullet if necessary right?" He asked. the sword he had before had more than one time served that purpose.

"It could if you were skilled enough with it." M nodded, "Remember that nothing I make is ever ordinary."

"I would be surprized if it was" He said nodding. "as for skill, i've done it before with my sword. saved my life a couple of times" he said.

M nodded, "Very good. I see you are accomplished, then." He glanced over his shoulder at Rebecca, who was still sulking, "I apologize for her behavior, but she does not often take a liking to anyone that she hasn't known for years."

Jason chuckled. "Yeah i caught on to that" He said. "as long as she doesn't attack me while i'm not looking i have no problems' He said.

"Normally, she only attacks when provoked." M said simply, "She can be reasonable, when she cares to. I recommend finding a way to get on her good side, though. She's more powerful than she knows."

"yes that's good advice, but i doubt it will be possible for me for a while" He remarked glancing over at her.

Rebecca looked up at the same time Jason did, flashing him the bird as if to prove his point, "Just give her a little time, then start talking to her. She'll have more respect for you if you are persistent." M offered.

"i presume that would be right" He said rolling his eyes at the bird. "though i will still help the humans when i can' He said as if remembering something from earlier.
