Jason watched him go at it. he flew to his base and came back with a roll of bandages. he pushed the sweater off and tied it up so the bleeding stopped. she would be fine after one night of sleep. he took her wrist and checked her for a pulse.

Rebecca coughed up the water, groaning lightly. Her pulse was still there, and going strong, but beating erratically, like it wasn't sure what had happened.

Cai leaned back up, breathing heavily. "Rebecca? Are you okay?"

Jason sighed relieved when she was alright. jason didn't like killing anyone. before she could get reoriented with everything he spread his wings and flew off and out of sight.

"You had me so worried... are you all right?" He asked.

Jason kept flying away at a high speed. he didn't want to stick around for them to grab him and take him back to that M guy. if he wanted anything from him, it was probably his sword. there was no way jason would give that up.

"No..." Rebecca frowned, "I feel like I've been plowed through with a truck."

"Uh... I think someone shot you." Cai said, looking at the bandages.

"Absolutely f*cking perfect..." Rebecca groaned, "This is just great. What a way to make my day. Where did that guy go? I'm going to kill him."

Jason was out of sight by now. He was flying low to avoid being seen. he looked around to make sure there were no issues in the city

"I have no idea. But I really don't think you should be flying yet...."

Rebecca started to get up, but bit her lip and sat back down, "God, I'm p*ssed now..."

"That's probably because you're in pain. Let's get you back to M, okay?" He said, putting an arm behind her back and under her legs to pick her up.

Jason kept looking around. it seemed his prescense was enough to keep robbers aaway. he wondered what he should do, and perched himself on a building, just to watch.

Rebecca nodded and held onto Cai, "Alright." she said softly, her voice sounding younger and more vulnerable, even if only for a brief second.

Cai nodded and leaped into the air, flying back to the graveyard.

Jason looked up at the stars above, he wondered what hold this M person had on the other two, and why they followed him so obediently. he also wondered what M would want with jason, or his sword for that matter. It was a bit creepy. he would have to stay on guard from now on.

M was in the graveyard with a book when they landed, but the calm, collected look in his face suddenly turned to pain and anger when he saw Rebecca, "What happened?" He asked in a stern tone, "Did he do this to her?"

Jason wondered if that girl was alright. sure, normally he wouldn't have left a girl alone like that, but they seemed tobe after hm for some reason.

M nodded solemnly, "Is she OK?" He asked, taking her from Cai since she was passed out again.

"She got shot... of course not." Cai said, watching Rebecca from over M's shoulder.

Jason sighed a bit, wondering if he should have pulled the bullet out before letting her go. he figured it was best this way, since that boy friend of hers probably wouldn't have liked his fingers in her skin.
