Blood of the Innocent: Part One

"Dominic LeChance, Elizabeth Bathory, Gilles De Rais... and then there's The Crone, and the Night Mother...."

Adare looked as though she didn't know any of them, "Dominic sounds familiar... Where is he at?"

"The Library in London." He said.

Adare nodded, "How far is that from here?"

"Not very... Dianne or I could take you."

Jason sat against the wall, listening and watching. he was mostly focused on Adare. He had so many questions to ask her, but it seemed she wasn't interested in somoen so "young"

Adare nodded, then looked over at Jason, "Do you know where this 'London' is?" she looked at all three of them, "And how old are you, might I ask? And what is the year?"
Dianne nodded her head, "I'm 835. And the year is 1935 a.d."

"of course I know london. i've been living there half my life. I turn 180 next month" he said looking away a bit knowing full well he was probably the youngest here. ((the age on the front of this rp was a math mistake on my part))

Adrian shrugged. "I am, aproximately, 431."

"So I suppose you are the Dianne that the dark one spoke of?" she asked, "I am Adare Cross."

Jason kept watching her with a mixture of curiousity and intrigue. He didn't want to speak up and say something stupid right now. He was probably already considered a child in their eyes.

Jason stood up a bit. "if you guys need me i'll be outside. there's something i need to work on" he said climbingg out of the cave. he dragged on of his sharp nails slowly along a spot on his left arm. "i got to figure this stupid thing out" he muttered dipping his fingers in the blood. he slashed towards a wall but all that happend was a few drops of blood hitting the wall. "why cant i do it again?" He asked himself sighing.

Adare looked over at Dianne, "Are vampires these days all this strange?"
"The younger ones, yes." Dianne sighed, "I'm thinking Jason could take Adare to the library and you and I stay here and... talk something over. What do you say, Adrian?"

Adrian smirked a bit and nodded. "Sounds good. But, in a grave Dianne?" He asked, having a good idea of what she meant.

"You know me." Dianne shrugged, "Anywhere, anyway, as long as I get it."

He smiled and shook his head. "Well, I'll be happy to give it to you."

Jason wasn't listening. he was starting to get very frustrated with his lack of ability. "just work d*mnit" he growled trying a sixxth time. this time the blood turned into blades that knocked the boulder back a good ten feet. he panted watching it. "okay so i got something but not as strong as before....." he murmured looking down trying to figure it out.

Adare walked out, "Trying to do a 'blood blades'?" she asked offhandedly, "It's simple once you get the concentration down. Anyways, the two inside claimed you would be able to take me to the library to find this 'Dominic' fellow."

Jason nodded. "I can" he said. "I don't think this is the blood blades you are thinking about." he said thinking back. "the first time i did it it was just.... unreal. it wasn't like what you just saw at all" he said trying to explain it before shaking his head. "sorry i must be boring you. i'll take you there now if you're ready" he said.

Adare nodded, "The one you performed must have been a variation of the original. The one I recall was one long blade, with bad aim that did little to no damage. It wasn't even worth the effort, honestly." she looked out to the horizon, "But yes. If you could go ahead and take me to the library, it would be most helpful."

"mine isn't like that at all.. five blades... killed twenty in one swipe... but i can't figure out how to do it on command" he muttered shaking his head. "anyway follow me" he said starting to walk towards London.

Adare followed him to the library, silent as the grave. Jason would have had to look back every few seconds just to make sure she was there. Her face was solemn, as though something was troubling her and she simply wasn't able to put her finger on it.

Dominic was siting down, siftiting through the pages of a demonology book.

Adare walked to the door, "Thank you for accompanying me. I will not force you to stay with me if you do not wish to." she said simply to Jason, then walked through the door, the booming sound of the wind sweeping in after her calling attention to her entrance.

As the wind swept up the pages of his books, he shot a glare to the entrance. "What is the meaning of this?"
