Total Anarchy: R.I.P.

Dianne frowned and stormed off, clearly miffed. Bella came in tentatively, her eyes cast downward and her body pulled in. Her body was thin and haggard, looking all-and-all kind of sick.

Jason sat cross legged on the ground. He closed his eyes as he waited to see what these people needed him for. he found his senses were heighted when his eyes weren't being influenced by distractions.

"Bella, answer me this, do you wish for him to be around? It seems blatantly obvious you have an interest in him."

Jason opened his left eye when she said that. no one had taken an interest in him before... he opened the other eye too and looked at bella wondering if she wanted him to be around.

Bella looked at Kyira, looking to see if this was one of Kyira's tricks where she'll make it look like she has options, but forces her into the one she wanted, "I-I would like the company v-very much..." She said softly, trying not to let them hear her body's quivering and quaking. Between the cold and the loss of blood from her head injury, it was all she could do to stand.

Kyira turned to the boy.
"You, what is your name?"

Jason looked up at kyira with his golden eyes. "my name is Jason Amaroq." he said, answering her question and nothign more. he looked back at bella. "why is she standing? she should be laying down to recover from blood loss" he muttered mostly to himself.

"Bella is one to do as she pleases, unless I intervene. I don't force her to rest for long, as long as I see fit. After that she can do what she wants, as long as it's within the rules I have set for this safe house. One of which she broke and is why you are here. Now, answer this, do you wish to stay here, for the sake of Bella's life?

Jason looked up at kyira. "yes. i do" he said simply. he looked back at bella. he couldn't just let her die after all... he would have to help her.

Bella closed her eyes, her body trembling visibly. She couldn't keep it hidden any longer. Her knees buckled to try and keep her from falling, but they gave out and she collapsed to the floor.

"Do know this though, because I'm allowing you to stay, you do have to abide by my rules. I made this safe house, and I will make sure it stays safe. Windows and doors are always to be locked. At night lights are only allowed out if absolutely need, but the windows must have the black towels over them. No one is allowed here, except Bella, me, Dianne, Elanor or you. And you aren't to levae unless you have to. I go as I please to get supplies and such. And...do know, if at anytime you seem to pose a threat at all, I will kill you."

Jason was very agile, especially given his size. he lunged like a cat and slid under bella and caught her just before she hit the ground. "i can agree to all of that save leaving. i have hidden supplies of my own that I would like to get to from time to time, but i'll tell you before i go" he said. he sat up, holding bella on his lap. "do you have a bed for her?" he asked looking at Kyira.

"We have something like that..."
Kyira walked towards the first door in the long hallway, opening it to reveal Bella's room. Her bed was a matress, a crappy one at that.

Jason set bella down on the bed. since kyira hadn't argued he assumed she didn't mind his condition. he looked at the matress. "if you want i could bring in a few matresses i have stashed" he said. he was a pack rat, anything usefull he hid.

"Whatever you want. As long as you come back with something valuable we may need. try to bring food back as often as possible. those two fat a**es in there eat more than I can bring. I have to eat away from here just to ensure I do eat and that she does as well."

Bella stirred slightly, reaching out and gripping anything her hands could find. It happened to be Jason's arm, which she was squeaking so tightly that it felt like she was going to cut off the circulation to his hand. She screamed loudly, as if in terrible agony, tears running like waterfalls down her cheeks. And yet, she was still asleep. Kyira would know that Bella had be plagued by terrible nightmares her entire life. And they kept getting worse.

Kyira sighed heavily, going into the kitchen and looking for anything cold, coming upon a tray of ice, which she had no idea was even there. She walked back and dumped the ice on Bella. This was the only way to keep the nightmares from happening.

Jason managed to replace his arm with his hand. he held her hand tightly in his own. he looked at kyira. "well i have no less than four dozen secret stores of food. i also have a few matresses, some paint and canvases. and other things i can't remember." he said listing out what he had.

"Like I said, I don't care what you get as long as you bring back somethings we can use."

Bella's death grip relaxed when the ice hit her body, though it made her shiver a little with the cold of it. Her eyes fluttered a bit, like she was going to wake up, but then closed.

Kyira slank back against the wall, waiting for Bella's next fit of nightmares.

Jason sat on the edge of the bed, gripping her hand in his own and gently running his fingers through her hair, hoping it would relax her and keep the nightmares away.

After the ice had almost all the way melted, Bella woke, reflexively jumping back to keep away from whomever's touch she felt on her hand. She almost hit her head on the wall again, but missed it by mere inches. She breathed quickly at first, as if startled, then relaxed upon recognizing Jason's face and seeing that Kyira hadn't killed him. Yet.

Jason watched her, his expression showing a bit of hurt from her jumping away like that. "it's alright bella, i'm not going to hurt you" he said kindly as he held his hand out to her.

Kyira threw a towel at Bella.
"Dry yourself off. I don't want you catching a cold." Kyira said with no emotion.
