The door was kicked down, and one of the agents started firing off random shots, one grazing Angel's shoulder.

Hayden hid behind one of the computers, pulling out the magnum and aiming at the door.

Jason stayed low, almost flat on the floor and ran towards the agent, pushing the gun in his face and pulling the trigger, eliminating the guard. He looked back at them. "seems they know our location" he said pulling his usb drive from her computer. "we need to get going now." he said looking at them.

Angel nodded, holding her hand over her wounded shoulder, "If I'm not mistaken, they won't hesitate to kill all of us ASAP."

Hayden shoved her USB drives in her pockets and grabbed her guitar and her amp. She nodded at Jason and got ready to run.

Jason took some guaze from his pockets and wrapped up her shoulder. he threw his guitar over his back and helped her up. "nope. they'd kill you before they blink" he said. "now come one" h said helping her along and down the street, he stayed close to her in case her hurt arm acted up.

Hayden followed behind, her guitar strapped to her back and amp hanging from her shoulder like a small bag.

Angel followed him, wincing slightly at the pain in her arm. It didn't hurt that bad, it was just annoying.

Jason kept close to her. "once we distance ourselves we'll have some time to regroup" he said to her.

Angel nodded, "So... are you going to take us out of the system?" she asked, hopeful. The longer they were inside, the greater her chances were of dying in the same way as her parents.

Jason nodded. "now that you are 'aware' of the system, you can't die in the harvest. only the agents can kill you now" he said. he was more then knowledgeable.

Angel nodded, glad that she didn't have to worry about that, but still she harbored a secret hope she would be let out.

Jason smiled at her. "i'll get you two out of here. i've gotten out once, and i'm the slowest hacker ever. yo utwo should be able to get out easy" he said reassuringly.

Angel smiled, glad she could do something. She wasn't much of a talker, but if she got attached to someone, you'd have to knock her out to get her to shut up.

Jason stayed close to her. he heard a click and tackled her to the ground as a shot rang out. "stay down" he said rolling off of her and opening fire at an agent that popped out of an alleyway. the agent fell and jason slowly stood, helping up angel. his left arm was bleeding from a direct hit with a bullet.

Angel immediately went to his injury, fishing the bullet out with her fingers, which were immaculately clean by the looks of them, and wrapping his arm tightly with a strip of fabric from her jacket.

Jason smiled softly at her. "thank you" he said greatfully. he was glad for the help. He gently took her hand. "let's keep moving" he said leading her now.

Angel followed him silently, watching for more agents. They seemed to be everywhere.

they came across a seemingly harmless old lady. the second they got close she changed into an agent, but jason had shot her before she even finished changing. "when the man says trust no one, he means trust no one" he said to her. he still held her hand as they moved, making sure she stayed close to him.

Angel yelped a bit in surprise when he shot, "Goodness...." she sighed, continuing to follow him to wherever it was they were going.
