Jada opened it cautiously, not sure who to see. She wasn't sure until she saw Asher's face and she opened it widely, grinning happily to see him again.

He held his arms out, for her to see it was him as he twirled beneath the neon lights of the city, "I told you I'd see you again, but I couldn't bear it any longer."

Jada sat on the window sill and stared into Asher's eyes.
"I know how you feel, it hurts to be apart for a minute."

Now that Asher wasn't wearing his mask from the party, Jada could see his face. His eyes were a bright, almost glow-in-the-dark green, and his hair was dyed black and cut so the tips came to points at the bottom in orderly chaos.
"I'll stay here all night if you wish it so!"

Jada looked back at her door, then to Asher.
"If you wish to stay, you can...but be weary, my parents or servants could knock at any time and you'd have to hide immediately."

Asher bowed, "Death would be a better fate than leaving you."

"Well, if it meant you dying, then I'd prefer you leave, but we don't live in the olden times. Now all the can do is call the patrol to tow you off."

Asher grinned, "I enjoy pretending. And now, I am pretending you are Juliet and I am Romeo." He laughed and climbed up to the window, sitting on the edge, "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?"

Jada rolled her eyes with a smile on her face as she whisked herself across the room to check the hall, to see it was all dark. She closed it quietly and locked the door. Being extra careful, she pulled her dress chair out and propped it against the door.
"If you wish to, then go right ahead."

"Thou art just as bright and far more beautiful." he smiled, "Forgive me, I don't remember the rest because I am at a loss for words."

Jada blushed a light rose color and smiled.
"Why sir, you do flatter me so."

"And I am not done." he laughed, "Call me a fool if you will, but only if you will be my lady. I would marry you now if you would but take me."

"Now, are you speaking truthful words? Or just leading a lady on?"

"I speak nothing but the truth!" He smiled, "If you find me lacking, then kill me now for life has lost all it's joy!"

"So now you propose marriage? After a few hours of knowing one another?"

"Only if you will have me." He said solemnly, "I'm content to know true love, but to be truly happy, I would want to never leave your side."

Jada's eyes were glowing as she spoke.
"If I were to have not you, what left would I have?"

"So you accept?" His face brightened, "Oh, Juliet is the sun indeed!" He smiled and laughed joyously, "My life is complete."

Jada laughed merrily, truly happy.
"As is my life now, I finally have my Romeo."

He chuckled, "Am I truly as sappy as Romeo is?" he smiled, "Well, I understand him now. I just hope that we don't follow their footsteps all the way until the end."

"I doubt I want to then."

"You don't." Asher giggled. "They are long, sappy, and more infatuation poems than love poems."
