Are We Angels? Part 1

jason put a hand on his sword and followed M. "if cai is there don't be surprized if i try to kill him" Jason said quietly.

"I'm not taking you to Cai. I'm taking you to the first of Estelle's victims." M said solemnly.

"oh so you're going to show her what happens if she touches me" he murmured. "i'm not afraid of her M. I know she won't kill me" he said.

"She won't on purpose. And she's with Cai." M landed in an alleyway, where a grotesque sight awaited them. There was a body of a girl, frozen in a standing position, her skin almost black it was so blue. She looked as though the life had been drained out of her. "She didn't do it on purpose." M assured him, "It tore her apart when she saw what she did."

Jason thought for a minute. "I remmber watching a tv show where a girl drained people's powers when she touched them... to avoid it i think she just wore gloves and covered her skin with clothes." he said remembering x-men. "wouldn't the same thing work for estelle?" He asked.

Cai grinned a bit. "How interesting. Now... go get some paper and gas. And hurry up!" He said, pushing her away.

Estelle's body forced her to comply, bringing him what he needed.

"Sort of. But, her power is much more... deadly. She only needs to touch you for an instant and this... is what happens."

Jason nodded. "but would the idea of covering her body work?" Jason asked watching M still.

"Perfect." He said. "Now... go pour this inside of... that building." He said, pointing at a homeless shelter. "Then light it up."

Estelle bit her lip, dying to cry out in protest, but her body made her do as she was told.

M nodded, "It should. But, it would be only a temporary solution. If she smells fear near her, she'll loose control and the demon part of her will take over. And with the way she looks now, it's difficult for most not to fear her just upon a first glance."

"Have fun." Cai mused, watching her go.

Estelle came back, tears running down her eyes as the building burned behind her, "I hope you're happy."

Caai grinned. "Ecstatic." He mused, patting her head, though careful only to touch her hair. But, if that would freeze him, he patter her shoulder instead.

Estelle looked back at the building, yearning desperately to try and save them, though she knew that would only end in disaster. Something was in the air though... A hypnotic scent that seemed to take over her mind. Her body started trembling as she tried to turn away, her eyes seeming to become more demonic.

Cai grinned. "You can feel it, can't you?"

"Yes..." She answered simply, "I don't want to hurt them..." she was struggling enough to keep it held inside of herself, talking was just an added distraction.

He smiled. "But it was fun, wasn't it?"

"No..." She cried, "I hated that..."

He shrugged. "Well, you'll learn to love it. Now... lets make some mischief on a more individual level." He mused, grinning.

Estelle looked him in the eyes, knowing she was most likely going to make herself sick later.

He grinned and rubbed his hands together. "What to do, what to do... tell me the number one thing you are most against." He said.

She didn't want to say, though her mouth seemed to move without her wanting it to, "Rape. Murder. Abuse."

Cai grinned. "Lets see if we can cover all three." He said, grabbing her arm and jumping into the sky."

Estelle let her wings out so she could try to keep up with him, though she had never really been a fast flier.

Cai grinned as he landed on the corner of a building. "Point out someone that you think looks very pious and innocent." He said.
