Claire quickly slid out of the Starbucks just as it began to get busy, holding her iced chai latte in one hand and her phone in the other, though she was basically using the front facing camera as a mirror to go over her haircut for the 15th time. She'd gotten her long locks cut short, a nice pixie cut for the summer, though she was once again questioning whether it was what she'd really wanted. She paid little attention to where she was going, heading in the general direction of home and happy to have not bumped into anyone.

Beyril didn't pay attention herself, focusing on mentally picking out the chord progression of the song playing on her ipod. She focused better with her eyes closed, letting her fingers pick out the beat. She made an "oomph" sound as she walked right into someone, the air being pushed from her lungs as her scrawny legs scrambled to keep her upright. She pulled the earphones out, looking up, "Whoa, I'm so sorry! That's totally my bad. I wasn't paying a damned bit of attention..." her cheeks slowly turned the same bright crimson of the top of her hair as she scrambled for words and apologies. She looked like the kind of person who lived out of a tricked out bus, travelling the countryside and just seeing the world. Beads clung to a small braid that progressed red-to-blonde on the underside of her hair, green eyes sat like emeralds on embarrassed cheek bones among a starscape of freckles. Her clothes sort of draped across her thin frame, a skinniness that couldn't be overlooked, and looked very much like the build of someone who occasionally had to skip meals. The crop-top she wore framed elegantly the constellations on her hips and the jeweled ring dangling from her belly button. A tiny flash of black ink on her sternum hinted to a tattoo nestled just under her breasts.
Beyril sighed, letting her hair fall across her brow like flame licking at fuel, "I'm acting like a fool, aren't I?" she chuckled to herself, smiling crookedly.

Claire felt her latte slosh and spill against her top, drenching the whiteness of her old 'Plain White Tees' t-shirt. She lifted her eyes to glare at whoever had bumped into her but stopped when her eyes took a moment to study Beyril, blue eyes quickly darting over her and taking everything in. She quickly smiled and shook her head. "No, it's alright, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going..." She said in a soft tone, ignoring the fact that her shirt was rapidly becoming see-through.

Beyril looked down at her shirt, "Oh my god, I'm totally screwing up your shirt!" she opened her bag and pulled out a jacket, "I'm so sorry.... Here, you can take this if you want! Let me buy you another coffee!"

Claire looked down and noticed the state of her shirt, the small blush on her cheeks growing wilder out of embarrassment. She quickly took the jacket, fitting it over herself, and though it was a little big it was more than enough to cover herself. "N-No, that's alright, I-I think I'd like to just get home and change." She stammered out, holding the edges of the coat together.

Beyril sighed, a slight frown on her full lips, "I feel awful... You can keep the jacket if you want.... You go to school here, right? I'm sure it'll look better on pretty girl anyways." she smiled gently, "I'm Beyril if you want to call me a klutz with your friends later. Can't say as I'd blame you."

"No, I wouldn't feel right. Why don't you come with me and I'll give it back to your once I've changed..." She said quickly, her cheeks seeming to be permanently tinged red from the compliment. "A-And as for friends, don't have enough to joke around with about you..." She slipped out, her jaw clamping shut after she realized what she said. She'd never been one to just give out information about herself, even to a pretty girl. A girl with such beautiful red hair... She shook her head, trying to jumble the thoughts and get back on track.

Beyril smiled, shrugging her backpack up onto her shoulder, "If you say so, nameless wonder." she teased lightly, "And I'm sure you've got plenty. If you're sure you don't wanna keep it, I don't mind following. I've got some time to kill."

Claire found herself flustered at what she was considering constant flirting, offering her a hand. "I'm Claire..." She said softly, her feet fidgeting a bit. "Nice to meet you, Miss..." She trailed off, waiting for Beyril to introduce herself.

Beyril laughed, taking her hand, "Beyril. I said it a minute ago. I'm sure the coffee all over you probably distracted you, though." she smiled.

"Oh, uh... Right..." She said with a nervous chuckle, giving her hand a single shake before pointing up towards a bunch of apartment buildings. "I live up there... You, uh, wanna get going?" She asked, brushing her hair behind her ear and letting out a sigh.

Beyril nodded, "After you." she smiled gently, relaxing the flirtatious mannerisms.

Claire led her up the road to her building, punching in her code to unlock the front door and holding it open for Bey. "Call the elevator." She said with a smile, rolling her shoulder.

Beyril stepped through with a bow of her head in thanks, pressing the button for the elevator when she got through. "Swanky place you've got here." she smiled.

"Yeah, it's not bad. Rent is decent and basics are included." She said with a smile, slipping into the elevator once it arrived and hitting the 5th floor button. She leaned against the wall of the elevator, unwittingly accentuating her curves.

Beyril glanced over her figure quickly, trying not to look like perv for the wandering of her eyes, "Sounds nice. I'm uh, watching over my parent's place while they're away. Kinda pricey, but you know. They make more than me."

"Sounds fun..." She said, sneaking glances at the red head as well. When the door opened she slid out, offering Bey a smile before heading to the first door on the left, room 501. She pulled out her keys, an assortment of different key chains adorning the thing, and unlocked the door.

Beyril shoved her hands in the pocket of her shorts fidgeting with the nails on her hands where no one could see. She looked perfectly calm and collected. The picture of confidence, one might say.

Claire pushed the door open. The place was decently decorated, nothing too posh but cozy. Things were strewn here and there, though the thing that caught Claire's attention was a less-than savory magazine sitting on the couch, with a lewd picture of a pair of women on the cover. She dove for it the moment her eyes landed on it, trying to hide it quickly.

Beyril laughed, "Nothing to be ashamed of. I get that one sometimes too." she grinned, seeming almost relieved for a moment.

Claire's face was beet red at the entire incident, tossing the magazine under a pile of entertainment mags. She pulled the jacket off and offered it to Beyril. "H-Here... I-I'm gonna... go change. And die." She mumbled, standing still for a moment after and letting Bey have a perfect view of her soaked and see through t-shirt.

Beyril smiled, eyes flicking over her form, "No big deal, cutie. Go on, get yourself cleaned up. I promise I won't snoop." she winked.

Claire, ever one to push the limits of how outgoing she could be before it killed her, offered Bey a less than innocent smile. "Don't feel inclined to keep that promise..." She said before rushing down a side hallway, opening and mostly closing the door to her room.

Beyril's cheeks blended with her hair. Dear god, what am I getting myself into... She sighed, leaning back against the counter and pushing her ringed hand back through her hair trying to sort through her head.

Claire, once safe and secure in her room, leaned up against a wall and let out a sigh. She pushed her fingers through her hair, momentarily wishing it was long again just so she could prolong the action. Why oh why did she say that? It's not like this girl was just going to waltz into her room while she was undressing! For fuck's sake, they'd met less than an hour ago! She sighed, tugging off her shirt and soon after her bra, both articles too wet to be comfortable.
