The Real World: Revived

Forewarning, this is based on real life issues, cursing is to be expected. And when it comes to the prostituting part, don't tell us what happens, kay?


Characters:
They need to be something like a druggie, drug dealer, hooker, pimp, anything along those lines.
They have to be suffering in some way.
They don't have to be a good person, they can be a royal a**.


Felicity Vaugn
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Occupation: Female dance, aka Stripper.
Living conditions: Lives in a run down apartment on the south side of this city.
Bio: Felicity lived with her parents up until she dropped out of high school because her boyfriend didn't think she needed an education. Later on he convinced her to try dancing, saying she'd be an "exotic dancer", but she really knew he meant stripper. She's been stripping for 5 years and she split with her boyfriend a year after she started. She now strips every night a week so she can pay the bills and feed herself.


Rowan Galveston
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Bio: Rowan grew up in a wealthy, strict household with a free spirit. Through her teenage years, she was rebellious in any way she could, ending up an alcoholic before she was a legal adult. Her family disowned her when she was 17, and now she's living in a shabby apartment in a bad part of town, hooked on several drugs with no job, being forced to work as a prostitute for money to keep herself alive. Some weeks, she buys her drugs and goes without food, so she is ridiculously skinny.


Linas
Age: 22
Bio: After his parents got divorced when he was 12, he spiraled downward with depression. He started smoking pot when he was 13, snorting coke by 15, and shooting up heroin by 16. Linas has been in and out of his house because of drug addiction and currently lives on the streets. He's been to rehab so many times and it's never worked because of the love for drugs.


Jack "Frost" Greene
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Occupation: Contract Killer
Living conditions: Lives in various hotels and motels, switching between them twice a week.
Bio: Jack Greene enlisted in the USMC at a young age, fresh out of high school. He was deployed to Afghanistan, where he was critically injured and removed from a firefight while the rest of his squad continued on their operation. Whether assuming him dead or killed in action themselves, his squad never returned, and Jack was cared for by a few compassionate locals. Picking up a knack for nicotine through shisha, and an addiction to opium from his stay in the Middle East, he eventually developed lung cancer, urging him to return to the US for treatment. He has worked for various protection details and body guard services, but has made a somewhat infamous reputation for himself as a hit man since the escalation of his illness has numbered his days.

Felicity stepped outside of the strip club, a cigarette between her lips. She pulled out her lighter and lit it, smoke filling her lungs. The smoke and rain mixed into a sadly beautiful sight. Her shift at the club was over, all that was left was the walk back to her cruddy apartment in the south side of the city.

Linas woke up from his unconsciousness on the sidewalk. He was almost completely sober. He reached in his pocket and found his stash of cocaine. Gathered in his hands, he snorted the pure white powder into his nose. Almost instantly he felt the effects of the drug; every thing looked like you hit the fast forward button on a DVD. He stumbled onto his feet and took of running. He ran into a girl that was around his age and stumbled. He had seen her before at the strip club around the corner.

Felicity cursed as her cigarette was knocked from her hands and she was knocked onto her side..
"Hey, watch where you're going buddy!"
Felicity stood, slapping her hands down to get the water off her arms. She turned to see who had knocked her down and she resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Another druggie. They thrived on this street. And who could blame them? Drugs and sex appeal. It was Heaven and Hell all on the corner.

"Fuck off" Linas hollered back while flipping her the bird. But the buzz was turning sour real quick. He immediately felt like shit and fell to the ground convulsing. Foam was spewing from his mouth. This could only mean one thing: overdose. Linas has had this happen a few times before and each time it got worse.

Felicity's eyes widen as she rushed to the boy's side. Call her a sucker for the helpless; even though he had knocked her down she didn't want to see him die. She wasn't heartless.
"If you can talk, tell me what you took so I can help. If you don't I'm taking you to the ER whether you like it or not."

Linas consciousness was fading in and out. He heard the girl, but couldn't reply. Eventually everything just went black

"Shit, why do I always have to be the one taking care of the overdosers?" Felicity muttered. She pulled her phone out and dialed 911.
"Hello, 911. What's your emergency?"
"Hey, I'm on the corner of 7th street and Downey Road. I need an ambulance. I have a guy here who has blacked out. I think he may have OD'd."
"Okay ma'am, we have an ambulance dispatched to your location."
"Thank you."
Felicity hung up the phone and looked down at the boy. She had his head in her arms, he was alive. Thankfully.

When Linas woke, he felt like an elephant had sat on him. He noticed his surroundings. It was all white and he was laying in a bed in a gown with tubes attached to his veins. Not this shit again he thought to himself as he slowly raised up in the bed.

Felicity stood as the boy began to stir.
"Hey, don't sit up. You need to chill for a while. Whatever you took, it did a number on you."
Felicity gently pushed him back down on the bed. She saw the look in his eyes, he wasn't thrilled to be here. Better to tell him now she saved his hide from jail.
"Look, I told the doctors you were drugged. We've been friends since high school and you came to pick me up from work. You left your Pepsi alone at the bar, came back and drank it. When we went outside you started to OD. So make sure you remember that when they question you." Felicity whispered to where only the boy could hear her.

"Do you know where they took my stuff? I had a small bag of coke on me, that's what I took. They told me it was pure but I guess it was laced with something." Linas said, almost mumbling. He was very weak and needed to gain back his strength. "Thank you" he said to the stranger "My name is Linas by the way"

Felicity opened her back pack, it had all his stuff, including the bag no one but the two of them knew about in it.
"I got you covered Linas. I've been in and out of jail too. I just don't think a guy like you deserves to go back in. Just don't buy blow off someone you don't trust. It's never a good idea. My name's Felicity by the way."

"Do me a favor and get rid of that shit in the toilet. I'm never trusting that dealer again. By the way, why are you being so nice? We don't even know each other?" Linas questioned

"I learned a long time ago that karma is real. I treated a lot of people bad when I was younger. It got me here. I'm just trying to get back on her good side. Plus, you don't seem like you're a jerk all the time. Just when you get on some bad shit." Felicity replied as she stood. She went to the bathroom down the hall, locking the door behind her. She emptied out the coke into the toilet. She made sure to get rid of any and all drugs in his bag before she went back to his room.

Linas thanked Felicity yet again. She's the only person who has showed him compassion in a very long time. "Maybe I need to take a hint about this karma thing. She's been a horrible cunt to me all my life."

"It helps to stop using too ya know? Trust me, I know hoe good the shit is to you. When my boyfriend left me and I only had my job at the club, I smoke ice for months. Got real nasty looking. But it took away all the bad feelings. I finally got off the shit when my friend at work told me what I was doing. It doesn't help. You gotta find something that helps better than blow. Its hard, but something will work for you."
Felicity spoke like a woman who had seen death. But looking in the mirror seeing your own corpse would scare any one straight.

Lina's was almost corpse like himself. "you're right. I need to check myself into rehab and actually take it serious this time. I was clean for a month last time but old habits die hard. I've been using since I was 16. Maybe I should pick up smoking cigarettes every time I have the urge. Not exactly the best thing for your body but at least it's not destroying my life the way this addiction is"
