There was a low growl, then Estelle's body returned to the way it had looked before, the frost-bitten blue-black leaving her lips as her eyes closed.

"reveal yourself so that we can begin" Jason said. "and before you can ask, dissappearing is considered a power so it's off limits" Jason said setting his sword aside and tossing off ihs jacket.

The demon appeared, a snarling monster made of ice, it's form coming from it's time spent with Estelle.

Cai stood where they had left him, smirking a bit. "Kill yourself; and the girl, too, while you're at it." He mused offhandidly.

The demon started to lunge at Jason, then stopped and grabbed Estelle, snapping her back in his jaw, then killing itself.

Rebecca awoke a while later, not able to see M as he had hidden. She didn't see Jason, and overwhelmed by sadness about being alone, picked up a dagger that M had left in plain sight. She knew what she had to do now, but she needed to see Cai first, so she met him at the bridge.

Rebecca seemed excited to see Cai, as though she didn't think he really would show up, "Cai..." she said breathlessly.

Jason was by estelle in an instant, careful not to move her lest he kill her from the trauma. "estelle are you alright?" he asked hoping against hope she wouldn't die on him a second time.

Estelle cried out in pain, now awake. The demon was gone; and clearly not coming back. Tears ran freely down her cheeks, then froze on her skin as she clenched her hands.

Jason kissed estelle's cheek gently, holding her close, but not to the point it would hurt her. "it's alright estelle you're safe now" he said softly.

Estelle nodded a bit, "I'm sorry..." She said simply, though the words were struggled through her tension, trying to hold back the pain.
M landed in the cave behind Jason, not saying anything quite yet.

Rebecca bit her lip, unsure. She had to really feel: trying to tell how much he was making up. "What do you mean?"

M walked up behind him, "I'm afraid she won't. Not unless you can trust me with one last thing, Jason."
