He nodded and followed, staying low.

MC walked along for quite some time, nothing ever really showing itself, nor did they come across anything until they found the wreckage of a warthog.

"You're a SPARTAN; can you tear the gun off?" He asked, looking around the vehicle for any equipment.

"Yeah." She said simply, ripping off the turret.

"Nice." He said, sighing as he turned over the body of a soldier.

MC looked him over, "Looks to me like they were slaughtered before they even had time to respond."

He nodded. "Yeah. I hope the other ODST's are okay...." He said.

"Right now, you may call me selfish, but I'm just hoping we are OK."

He laughed a bit. "We're thrown into the fray at the start of the battle. ODST's really don't value their own lives that much."

MC nodded, though didn't have time to speak as a sniper shot whizzed past him and hit MC's left shoulder. She flinched back, then aimed the turret where the shot had come from to kill the sniper, firing and killing him as a few dozen more also open fired.

Ben shot off about two shots from his plasma pistol before he ducked behind and under the charred carcass of the Warthog.

MC fired a few more rounds, pepper-spraying a large group before ducking behind the Warthog as well.

"Yeah. Me too." She said, sounding pained, but standing to shoot down some more anyways, then ducking back down.
