"No." She groaned, "Shield was damaged in the crash."

"Then are you okay?" He asked.

"Not really, but we don't exactly have time for that right now." She said with a light groan, standing again to take out more snipers. She ducked down again, "I think there are only three left."

"Well stop popping back up to get shot, then!" He said, pushing one of her shoulders down before popping up, shooting twice, and dropping back down.

MC couldn't help but smile. No one had ever been so concerned over her.

He ducked back under the Warthog. "Let's take a little break, shall we?" He said.

"Did you get them all?" She asked, seeming a bit breathless.

"No. I hit one, but I don't think I killed it. But if we stay down, they can't hit us, and maybe they'll think they shot us. They might come down to investigate, and we can ambush them." He said.

MC nodded, taking off her helmet. "That thing was smothering me..." She remarked, her lip bleeding as well as her nose dripping blood.

He looked at her for a moment before opening a small first-aid kit compartment on his chest. He whiped the blood away with some gauze.

"Thanks." she breathed heavily, the sound of footsteps drawing near to them.

He nodded and began to charge a shot.

A jackal came around the corner, aiming a shot at MC, since she was a SPARTAN and it viewed her as the deadlier of the two targets.

Ben released the shot, which hit the jackal between the eyes and melted most of the bone and skinn off of the front of its head.

It fell over dead, the last of the Covenant there.
MC exhaled, sliding out of the armor over her chest. She had on a thin shirt under it, that was now soaked through with blood. Where it had once been white, most of it was now red and dripping, dying her skin the same color.

MC sighed, taking off her shirt so he could see the wound.

"I didn't mean all the way...." He said, begining to clean her wound. Thankfully, she couldn't see his eyes through his helmet.

"Better just get it all the way out of the way." she sighed, eyes closed.

He smiled a bit and began to wrap her wound. "That could be taken two ways, you know."
