"Indeed." He said, walking through a mini-city park like area.

There was an odd sound that almost sounded like a trill, that made MC look around.

"What was that?" He asked, his visor turning black.

"Don't know, and I'm not sure that I want to..." she whispered.

He nodded a bit. Up ahead, the annoying, high-pitched chatter of grunts could be heard....

MC sighed, "Can you tell where it's coming from?"

He pointed north-east. "Don't rush in alone."

"No. I am joining you." He replied.

MC smiled, "Thanks."

He nodded. "It's what I'm here to do." He said.

MC chuckled, "And I thank you for that." she walked over to the door, standing outside and waiting for him to join her.

He drew his combat knife and walked up beside her.

MC pushed open the door, just as two grunts quickly grabbed their guns. Before they had time to react, MC had snapped their necks.

"When I said I was comming along, I was hoping to get some action, too, yah know." He whispered as he crouched down and handed her one of their plasma pistols.

MC shrugged, "Didn't want to give them a chance to do any damage. You can get the next ones, I promise." The strange trilling noise started again.

He nodded and began to charge the plasma pistol.

MC looked out the window, "I can't see anything. Where is that sound coming from?" she sighed, frustrated.

"No idea." He said as he began to treck forward.

A shot was fired in front of Ben, barely missing him. MC looked up, "Found it." She pointed to a Jackal with a sniper.

Ben jumped back a bit and shot the charged blast from the plasma rifle at the Jackal.
