Jason dropped the man right on top of a police cruiser that was parked with officers within. he flew back to estelle. "sorry about that. the only way they'll talk is if you scare them a bit" he said.

Estelle nodded, "It's fine. I don't think he would have said anything otherwise."

Jsaon nodded. "That's exactly right" he said nodding. "anyway we got to go stop these guys now" he said sighing.

Estelle nodded, "I know where it might be. There's a group of warehouses by the pier that no one ever touches."

Estelle flew off, leading him to a group of five warehouses that looked untouched.

Estelle smiled back, "I'll check that one." she smiled, pointing to one.

Jason grabbed her hand gently. "let's stick together just in case they're expecting us" he said.

Estelle nodded, flying down to the door.

Jason landed next to her. "now be careful" he said quietly as he approached the door.

Estelle nodded and opened the door. No one was inside. "Let's check the other one."

The next three were also all empty.

Estelle opened the door. There were five men all inside, who immediately reached for their pistols, one firing at Estelle three times, hitting her every time before turning to fire at Jason.

Jason growled and thunder errupted from his fingertips and into the men, all of them twitching before falling to the ground quite dead. Jason looked at estelle and kneeld next to her. "are you alright?" he asked worridly

Estelle held her breath, trying to focus on something other than the pain in her stomach, arm, and wing. The bullets were stuck in her body, but she held her hand over them to freeze them. Maybe the ice would numb the spot. However, it didn't take too long to pass out.

Jason used his electric powers to pull the bullets out. he threw them far away before they could explode like his had. he ripped his shirt and bandaged her up quickly to stop the bleeding.

Estelle was slipping in and out of consciousness. "Jason?" she asked, like she was confused.

Jason nodded. "yeah it's me estelle i'm here" he said softly as he held her close to him.

"My stomach hurts..." She muttered, sounding almost drunk.
