| "An ancient? Staying with a fledgling? That's absurd! We have a place especially set aside for us; as Adrian's father was so kind as to give the Council the Tepes manor, most of us stay there. There's more than enough room. |

| "I'm plenty old enough to find my own way, thank you." she bowed her head, "I've never taken hospitality from anyone, so don't think I'm trying to be rude to either of you. Trust me, if I was trying to be rude, you'd know." she sighed. | |

| Adare chuckled, "Now, you're about 500 years younger than I, correct?" she laughed, "How many blood magics are you aware of?" | |

| "Quite a few, but not nearly as many as you, I'm sure." He said, smiling. |

| "And I'm sure you're correct. My master was the first vampire." She grinned maliciously. "Most of the ones I know have been lost quite some time based on your recollection." | |

| ((I thought her master was human? And I kind of had something in mind for the first vampire, if you don't mind >_> )) He nodded. "I'm sure. I would love to learn them, if you would be willing to teach." |

| ((Vampire master. The other was human. But, go for it. PM me your idea.)) "I may. If I'm put in the right mood." | |

| Jasno was just about fed up with this dominic guy. he kept putting everything jason said through the mud. he looked at adare. "i think most of those ancient ones you are talking about are in this" he said holding up the journal. "there are some parts i can't read because of the language but from what i can i can gather they've been around a long time and i've never found it anywhere else" he said pocketing the journal. he was at the point he wouldn't put it past dominic to try and steal it from him. "and before you ask dominic no i'm not going to let you see it" he said shooting dominic a glare. |

| "Most likely. Gerome told me he was going to write down some of his favorites." She shrugged. | |

| "any chance you could help me master a few of them? some of these i can get the jist of but i can't use well enough for it to serve a major purpose" he said off handedly "i can use the telepathy pretty well, but other than that i'm shaky with alll of them, even my own blood magic that you saw me practicing" he said. |

| "Pfft, don't patronize yourself, I'm probably older than that little collection or parlour tricks." He said, rolling his eyes at Jason. |

| "for one thing, this book is from before she was entombed" Jason said growling. "now stop putting me down or i'll show you exactly what I can do" he said just about to lose his temper. |

| He laughed. "You really think you can take me fledgling? I'm far beyond your level. Now, if you get so fed up over petty insults I won't bother my head about you at all. You were in war, you should know that your superiors are above you, hence superior." |

| "i wasn't in a war with superiors as you call it. I was in a war with brothers" he said growling. "those in comand did not look down on others or treat them like lesser beings." he said. "those in command realized they were nothing without the support of those "under" them. you're only superior because those "under" you let you think you are" he said. "I had respect for those in command above me because i realized they had earned their position. I fail to see how some jerk like you managed to get anywhere. from what i've seen you're all talk if you can't even use telepathy on your own" he said. |

| "Oh, I proved myself fledgling. Maybe not to you, but I've proved myself. As far as that 'telepathy' goes, I was asking for a more efficient way to share knowledge. Like... a mind sweep. I've been around for over 2200 years, do you have any idea how long it would take to go over my memories from that time? Even if I sped them up in my head, that would take years. No mere 'telepathy' can do that." He spat, crossing his arms. Dominic had a slight smirk on his face. mHe loved to argue. |

| "so you've been around for a long time. dust gathers overtime but that does not mean it's worth anything" he said crossing his arms. "and about that mind sweep you mentinoned, it's in the book." he said. "i just haven't quite mastered it enough to make it fast enough to make it worthwhile." he admitted. "i just need practice." he said crossing his arms yet again. "to me it seems you put all stock of your merit on how long your miserable carcass has been on this earth. all i can tell so far is that i've seen more and done more than you have in my short span of years" He said. "it's pretty obvious you've never been in a war, since you clearly have no concept of leadership. so if i had to guess i'd say you've been sitting in some room some where watching the world turn while others lived, fought, and died. i wouldn't be surprized if all you've done your whole life is gather dust" He spat. it was clear jason was through being insulted and now he was dishing it back out in full. At least he kept his choice of words in check. Despite Adare's age, she was still a woman and ediquette dictated that a man must watch his tongue in the prescense of a lady. or at least that was how jason had been raised. |

| Dominic shook his head, smirking still. "Naive little fledgling... you have no idea what war is. You had guns, you had cannons. Me? I had a spear and a shield. And with those simple weapons, I brought about the end of Troy. You do know what Troy was, don't you? And since then, of course, I've fought in a few wars... the conquering of Britain by Alexander, The Crusades, the French Revolution, and I even fought in one battle of the American Revolution, though I had to leave for some business back home. I've done more in my life than any other vampire aside from the Night Mother herself. Aside from Adare, The Night Mother, and our Proginer(SP?) I am the oldest vampire still around. And whether you know this or not, we do get stronger with age... not just more experienced, but stronger." He retorted. |

| "so far the only thing you've proved is strong about you is your sharp tongue" he said rolling his eyes. As far as those wars you claim to have fought in, I highly doubt your credibility in saying you were there." he said. "you claim to have done more, but you clearly have learned nothing. Every time you've opened your mouth you just prove to me you don't know anything about war. you just know to march and fight. An ape knows how to do that" he said. "your philosophies, your ideals. they are all that of an ape. top bananna is best and oldest. that's all you keep spouting out. You claim you've seen war. I don't believe a single word of it" |

| Dominic shrugged and smirked. "Well, seeing as nothing I'm saying is getting through your thick skull, I wouldn't be able to prove anything to you. You just go by what you see, apparently. Whether you believe me or not is your problem, and hopefully I'll get the chance to prove it to you in the future." |

| "until you prove it I won't believe it" he said nodding. "as they say, actions speak louder than words." he said crossing his arms. "i just am not sure whether or not to find your words credible at this time. after all, you could say you were a spartan hero but quite honestly how would i know for certain?" he said. "memories can quite easily be tampered with" he pointed out. |
