Blood of the Innocent: Part One

Nathan nodded. "Very. What have you been up to?"

"Dianne wanted to meet up with Adrian again, so we came to London to visit. Once we got here, though, we sort of ended up in a bit of a mystery about some sort of tomb."

"i wish i coul figure out what this tomb was. it seems that everyone knows about it but no one knows WHAT it is" he remarked mostly to himself.

Nathan smiled. "A tomb? Of what?"

Bella shrugged, "No one knows. Dianne's pretty determined to find out, though."

Nathan shrugged. "Huh... well, I'm sure they'll find out soon."

Bella nodded, then touched Nathan's lips gently, "I've really missed you."

Nathan smiled softly at her and bent down a little so he was at eye level with her. "I've missed you too. A lot."

Jason rolled his eyes a bit. he felt like an outsider here. "well i'll leave you two lovebirds alone" he said turning around and walking away

Bella smiled at Nathan, kissing his lips gently.

Nathan chuckled and kissed her back not-so-gently.

Adrian put his hands around Dianne's waist, holding her back from letting all hell break loose on Nathan.

Dianne sighed, "God, I'll never get used to that."

Adrian laughed a little. "Why not? You and I have done much worse... or should I say better?"

Jason was gone by now. he was in the mood for solving mysteries. hence why he as looking for the leader of the slayers for answers about this tomb thing.

((They don't know.... And Bella, I think you may need another character if Bella leaves.))

((I know. I'll get it taken care of.))

Dianne smirked, "You know it. And I think Bella's taken care of now. Care to investigate the tomb mystery?"

The library was always full of humans, but since the vampires had discovered this tomb, they had closed it off to the human public and reserved it all to themselves. Perhaps there was some answers in there...

Adrian smiled and nodded. "Yeah, lets." He said.

Dominic glided around the aisles in the library, sifting through the book titles.

Jason sighed. he decided to try the ibrary a second time. he ignored any sign of it being closed and started scanning titles.

Adare Cross

Distinguishing Characteristics: Old-fashioned, nonchalant, extremely civilized, a bit snooty
Biography: Adare is one of those vampires that grew so old that she doesn't remember how old she even is. Since there were no calendars for commoners when she was born, she doesn't even know her own birthday. She was entombed with her human master and was supposed to guard his body until it turned to dust. The Vampire Elders have closed off any information about her until they have uncovered the tomb. She was the first person to ever get turned into a vampire and has several abilities that any vampire would kill for knowledge of.

Jason yawned and kept searching for anything about a tomb that coul be useful.

Dianne smiled, "So, since we've gotten Bella and Nathan back together, what do you say we see what the Council is up to?"

In the library, there was a large stack of books that had been taken off the shelves and deliberately not been returned. Almost as if someone had been using them. The book on top was titled, "Vampire Master Bartholomew Dare".

Arian returned her smile. "As you wish." He said, offering his arm.

((Was your new character supposed to be the first vampire, or just the first turned?))

Jason noticed the book and picked it up. he opened it and started reading through it to see if it was of any use.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Nihilistic, narcissistic, uncaring, does nearly anything to finish a job, stuck up, upper-class, refined, indulgent when the opportunity arises, work-a-holic, secretive
Biography: Dominic was born as a priest to some forgotten civilization of early man, and holds on to his royal status to the grave. He is high up on the Elder Council, only below three others, and only one of which is even known to vampires out of the circle. He doesn't care much for others unless they have some use to him or his superiors, and truly couldn't care less about the mortal world, vampires below him, or any collateral damage he could cause. Somewhat of an acquaintance of Adrian's.

Dianne grinned, "Not the first time I've heard that one."

The book told about a man named Bartholomew Dare, and how somehow, he had managed to put a vampire in his debt around 1200 B.C. and had it as a sort of slave, having the vampire kill his enemies and reward his friends, almost brainwashing it for a time. Eventually, the vampire realized what he was doing to it and rebelled against him, killing him in a fit of rage. According to myth, it had turned Bartholomew's blood to ashes. It felt such great remorse for killing the only semblance of a friend it ever had, that it allowed its self to be buried inside Bartholomew's tomb.
