Zane hid behind Articia, "That's a pretty name." he smiled, then peeked in at all the humans, "Hey!" he waved.

Jason glanced up. he was a bit cautious but he figured since he could speak he couldn't be completely bad. he just cocked his gun and nodded. "hey" he said watching him.

Zane looked at Jason and made a face like he was nuts, "Attack you? Why would I do that? I only eat people that were already dead. They're hard to get to, mind you, but I can't bring myself to eat anyone alive..."

Articia sat down and crossed her arms, glancing wearily at the newcomer.

Estelle walked into the room, crossed her arms, and began inspecting Zane, lifting his arms, squeezing the muscle, ruffling his hair, smoothing it back out, and looking between him and Articia, "ARE YOU CLONES?!?!?!" she screamed.
Zane flinched back, "I think I just lost my hearing..."

"No!" Articia scoffed. "He's just a cheap imitation of the one and only freak of nature in this fairy tale." She pointed at herself.

Zane blushed lightly, then looked over at Estelle, "Did I say something funny?"
"Not really, she's just being a bit of a pain right now." Estelle cast a 'what-the-hell-are-you-doing' glance at Articia.

Articia sighed and grabbed Estelle by the arm, dragging her to the corner of the room where she wouldn't be overheard.
"Look, it's obvious this guy likes you, and I really don't think now is the time for him to be trying anything fresh, so I just want to stop him before he even thinks he can," she whispered.
