| "Lay down, your sweet and weary head. Night is falling. You have come to journey’s end.
Sleep now, and dream of the ones who came before. They are calling, from across a distant shore.
Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face? Soon you will see. All of your fears will pass away. Safe in my arms, you’re only sleeping.
What can you see, on the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea, a pale moon rises. The ships have come, to carry you home.
And all will turn, to silver glass. A light on the water. All souls pass.
Hope fades, Into the world of night. Through shadows falling, Out of memory and time.
Don’t say, We have come now to the end. White shores are calling. You and I will meet again. And you’ll be here in my arms, Just sleeping.
What can you see, on the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea, a pale moon rises. The ships have come, to carry you home.
And all will turn, to silver glass. A light on the water. Grey ships pass Into the West." -Into the West Anne Lennox The world has it's kings, queens, prime ministers, presidents, senators, and dictators, but the people really in control are the Dragon Riders; warriors from different races riding huge monsters breathing fire, and laying waste to the enemy. These are the people everyone is fighting to control. Elvish Names, in case anyone wants themCharacters:Eiltae Auvrearahel (blue-love, Blood of the Gods) Gender: Female Race: Elf Age: 215 Bio: Eiltae, or simply Tae to her friends, was raised in an obscure elven village when she found a dragon egg on her way into the capitol. It hatched for her, and she was trained in the Kaean (Elvish: Dragon Rider) Temple in the heart of the Elven empire. She has lived with her dragon for 192 years. Baelmus (life-companion) Gender: Male Age: 192 Bio: Baelmus was trained with Eiltae in the Kaean Temple, and has lived with her his entire life. He doesn't say much, and when he does, it's wise to pay attention.

| Tiber Haelson Gender: Male Race: Human Age: 19 Bio: Tiber grew up farming on his father's homestead and always had dreams of greatness. When Tiber was sixteen, he was unwillingly drafted into the army of his country, Raneset. During his training, Tiber was punished many times for insubordinance before finally being demoted to a stablehand. Tiber spent a good year of his life cleaning after horses and doing meaningless grunt work. Though, one year, Raneset's king aquired a very valuable thing; a Dragon Rider. This had a larger effect on Tiber than it should have had. The Rider's dragon began to bond with Tiber, who kept care of the dragon. The dragon heard Tiber's dreams of becomming great, and after a while, bestowed Tiber with it's egg. Immedietly after, he was taken to the Rider temple to be trained. He has recently completed his training, and has beem thrust into the world. Tephra Gender: Female Age: 3 Bio: Tephra was given to Tiber by her mother, and was taken to the Rider's temple as an egg. When she hatched, she and Tiber were trained together. |

| Eiltae loved the forest; the sounds, the scents, the way the grass felt beneath her cloth shoes... Everything about it was like home to her. She had done most of her training in the forest, with Baelmus flying overhead, meeting her in clearings. She heard his voice in her head, clear and resonating; Have you found anything? I haven't. She responded, Hold on... She heard a rustling in the bushes a little further off; I'm going to see what that was. Be careful. | |

| Behind the bush, a hooded figure knelt by a deer. There was a bow on the ground next to him, and he looked to be cleaning the deer, skinning it. |

| Eitae aimed one of her arrows at him, the point resting under his chin, "Stand." she said simply. | |

| "Who are you?" she asked, holding the arrow steadily against his chin. Gloves covered her hands, so her Dragon Rider's mark was hidden. | |

| "Well..." Tiber began before a thick black tail swept through the clearing and swatted Eitae away. Tiber grabbed his bow and drew a dagger from his belt. He jumped down and held the blade to Eitae's neck, holding her down. "I think I should be asking the questions now. Who are you?" He asked. (Is this Eragon-based?) |

| ((Yessir.))
Eiltae pulled the glove off of her hand, showing him the scar, "A rider. Eiltae Auvrearahel. You've wandered into Elvish territory and hunting is prohibited here." she explained.

| Tiber raised the blade from her neck and got off of her. "My apologies. I Wasn't aware. Are you okay?" He asked, holding out his hand to her up. |

| She took his hand and stood, "I'm alright, yes. My dragon is too large to land or fly in these forests, so he is by the lake. You never told me who you are, though." | |

| He nodded his head a bit. "My apologies; I am Tiber, son of Hael. This is my dragon, Tephra." He said, Tephra bowing her head a bit. |

| She brushed herself off, "My apologies for making threats to another rider. I am a servant of our queen and it is my duty to keep my homeland safe." she bowed her head lightly. | |

| She nodded, "An honest mistake." I thought you said you were coming? I am. "My dragon is calling me. If you have any sort of interest in seeing him, you may come along." | |

| I'd like to. Spoke Tephra into Tiber's mind. "We'll follow, if you don't mind." |

| Eiltae nodded, walking through the forest, "You may call me 'Tae' if it's easier for you to remember. I know our elvish names can be a bit difficult for humans sometimes. My dragon's name is Baelmus. He's in the clearing just ahead." | |

| He nodded a bit, noting the nickname. He replied as he followed her, Tephra close behind. "I'm just not uesd to it." He said. |

| "I wouldn't think so. You are used to human names." she stated simply, then stepped over a fallen tree into a clearing where a huge white dragon sat. Eiltae put her bow down at the edge of the clearing and stepped over to Baelmus, touching his nose with her hand. He was one of the biggest dragons in the country, as dragons get bigger as long as they keep living, though their growth rate slows as they get older. | |

| He nodded his head a bit. "The only Elvish I know is what I know of the Ancient Language." He said, before looking in awe at Baelmus. |

| Baelmus nodded his head in acknowledgment of Tiber's presence. Eiltae nodded, "Well, elvish names are made up of prefixes and suffixes. Like, Baelmus. The prefix is 'Bael', which means 'life', and the suffix is 'mus' which is 'companion'." she explained. "It's complicated at first." | |

| She shook her head, "Not at all. 'Eil' is a prefix for 'blue'," she chuckled, touching her hair lightly, "'tae' means 'love', which is what most call me. My family name, Auvrearahel, means 'Blood of the gods'." | |
