Angel followed him out, not saying a word, just rubbing her bare arms in an attempt to keep warm.

He went back inside and got a blanket, which he cut a hole in. He handed it to her like a pancho

She smiled lightly, taking it, "Thanks..." she said softly.

"Good." He said smiling, picking up some of the ammo left behind from the destroyed turrets before picking up his own machine gun and walking out of the building.

"I-I don't know..." she responded, a bit surprised that he said anything to her, "I haven't been here long, and probably would be a corpse in that closet had you not found me."

He went through many of the air-lock corridores, looking for a decent place to stay.

"Not really." He said, grimmacing.

"True." He said, trodding through a semi-flooded room into another, dryer room, which had an even smaller space of fallen debris in side. He crawled in and took off his backpack. "Think this'll do for the night?" He asked.
