Artemis looked over at him curiously, her voice cracking a bit at first, "What's that for?"

He sighed a bit. "We need to go. The, uh... Matrix dudes found us."

Artemis nodded, taking a deep breath, then wincing in pain. "You didn't sign up for this..." she muttered.

"Yeah, I did, actually." He said.

She looked over at him, almost irritated, "No, I mean me. You didn't sign up for me."

"Yes, I did. I signed up when I stowed away in your car. I signed up when I shot that vampire. I signed up when I kissed you." He said.

Artemis chuckled a bit, "You're too sweet to me"

"Tell me about it." He mused, standing. "But we need to get going."

Artemis nodded, pulling the IV out of her arm with a light wince. She held one arm over her torso, sitting up.

Trevor helped her out of the room and to their car.

Artemis closed her eyes leaning her head up against the headrest on the passenger side. She knew she wasn't in any condition to be driving.

"You want to lie down in the back?" He asked.

She nodded, "Yeah..." she climbed into the back, laying down in the back seat while she held on to her stomach.

"I'll try to drive steady so I don't move you much." He said, begining to drive off.

He drove on, trying not to stop often.

A few hours later, Artemis woke. She groaned lightly, looking up at Trevor, "Where are we at?" she asked.

"Idaho." He said.

Artemis groaned a bit, "How long was I asleep?"

"A while." He said. There were a few cans of energy drinks in the passenger seats.

Artemis smiled, "Do you want to stop somewhere to rest?"

"If we won't get caught."
