MC nodded a thanks, firing a few more shots into the torso, hitting the locations of three vital organs.

"Well sh*t. If you're like this with an SMG, what can you do with a laser?"

"Huh... I'll keep that in mind." He said, smirking a bit.

MC raised an eyebrow, "Your mind stays in the gutter, doesn't it?"

"I'm a soldier, I don't get many chances at getting laid. I've got to keep my mind occupied somehow." He said.

MC chuckled, "Of course." She fired again.

"Well, it could be worse." He said.

MC looked over, "Don't say that or it will."
As she spoke, the alarms went off. The base was under attack.

"You're good...." He mused offhhandidly as he began loaded in a ful magazine.

MC nodded, "I'm thinking. Should I help, or watch you get your a** handed to you?"

"Help- I'll make it up to you later." He said, stepping out of the room in a guerilla fashion.

MC nodded, grabbing some extra ammunition for her gun.

The hallways were filled with other soldiers as they rushed to ready themselves.

MC went into the bunker, changing into her SPARTAN armor.

"Is the shield fixed?" He asked.

MC nodded, pulling on her helmet, "It is."

"Good." He told her as he walked through a corridore, following the sound of a few Brutes bellowing.

MC walked down the hall behind him, then made a gesture for him to stop.

Ben did just that, looking back at her.

A few Brutes rounded the corner as MC fired three shots, hitting three of them square in the forehead.

Ben pumped the remaining one full of lead. He strode over and hefted up its gun before offering the Brute Shot to MC.
