Aiko jumped a bit again, "I think I heard something outside. I'll be back in a few seconds. I want to check it out."

"Need me to go?" He asked. "I am going to be a guard for the castle, right?"

"It's OK." Aiko smiled, "I'll get it." she slipped into her robe and walked outside the bath house.

There was a thud from outside and a rustling of leaves, then silence.

Sano leaped up, grabbing his robes and sword and rushing out.

There was nothing outside except for a small bit of blood on the grass and a big stick that had probably been used as a club of some sort. Aiko wasn't there.

Sano took to his fox form and sniffed around, trying to see where she had been taken.

The trail led into the woods, but seemed to get lost amongst the other creatures that moved across the ground.

Sano un-foxed and stood up, looking around. "Aiko?!"

There was no sound, no response. Only the sound of birds overhead and a strip of cloth from Aiko's robe caught in a thorn bush.

Sano grabbed the cloth and looked for another sign.

There was a rustle in the treees above. "am i to assume by that shout that you lost her?" jsaon said sitting in the tree.

"She lost herself, thank you. Maybe if you had had the decency to stick around, this wouldn't be happening." He spat back.

"Don't blame me for this" jason said calmly. "i left because i have more than a few enemies among demons" he said. "now are we going to sit here arguing or keep searching?" he asked.

"Don't blame me either, and you could have stayed, yokai aren't known for being violent unless you've messed with them personally. And that's what I was doing until you interrupted me."

"maybe not but you mentioned other demons arriving. it wasn't so much i had a problem with you as the chance i had a problem with them" he explained as he started leaping from tree to tree.

"Well, you'd be the bad guy anyway. None of them commit crimes." He said, looking for anoyther sign of Aiko. He bent down to sniff some blood.
