Angel has been trapped in her cell for days, unable to break free. They have surgically sewn wings to her back. Sonya was born to a missionary family in China. She lived there her whole life until her parents were both killed when she was 13. After that, she found an underground church that she joined up with, helping them get the things they needed to spread the gospel to the Chinese. After the government found the church, they killed all of the members except Sonya, who was sent to North Glen.

Sonya breathed deeply, trying to ignore the pain. If she could forget it was there, maybe she could last a little longer. Call her a fool for hoping that help would come, but she had to hope for something. Who was she kidding? She was on an island, trapped in a building that she didn't know how to get out of with a set of wings on her back that were not only very heavy, but she could feel everything they felt, including the itching that accompanied healing skin. There was dried blood all over her body, and some in a puddle on the floor that she was sitting in. She wanted to get out of it, but she was too weak.
Maybe in a little while...

A strange, tan puddle oozed under the door of Sonya's cell. alarms were starting to go off now, signaling abreakout. the puddle formed into jason's body. "stupid scientists, turned my body into something i can use to-" he cut off. "crap i picked the wrong door"he muttered. he couldn't bring himself to leave her there hurting. he checked her body, parts of his skin falling onto her injuries and acting like an instant plaster that made her skin heal instantly. He looked at her. "hey. can you move?" he asked.

Sonya breathed heavily, her arm folded across her chest and around her neck, covering what looked like a plastic tube shoved into her chest. It resembled a vacuum, and appeared to be sucking the blood from her heart, "Y-you're wasting you're time..." she spoke softly, her throat dry, "I can't move."

Jason looked at the tube. "okay what is this tube doing? and why can't you move?" he asked, ignoring the sound. they would never guess he had just moved into another cell so he knew he was safe.

Sonya tried to speak, but no more sound came out. She desperately wanted to tell him that they were trying to kill her and then revive her again, to see if they could raise the dead. She desperately wanted to tell him that they had fed tranquilizers into her system, but it was too late. Her eyes slipped closed and she fell limp. Not dead, but very much asleep.

while she was out jason figured out the tube was pulling blood out and not replacing it. he removed the tube, and closed the injury with a bit of his clay-skin. he picked her up and broke down the door with his left arm, which now resembled a sledgehammer. he broke them out and they dissappeared into the jungle, him carrying her on his back.

Sonya woke after two hours, still sort of protectively holding her arm over her chest. She coughed a few times, still feeling horrible, "Where am I?" She asked instinctively.

Jason looked over at her. "you're in the forest outside of that hellhole" he said calmly. 'i managed to carry you out, but now we need to figure out how to get off this island" he said.

Sonya tried to lift herself into a sitting position, still a little weak, "How did you get us out of there?"

Jason held up his left arm, which morphed into a sledge hammer. "the scientists in there did a genetic experiment on me that i managed to use to mmy advantage" he said returning the arm to it's normal state.

Sonya nodded, "I know firsthand how bad those can be." She stretched out her wings, noting that they weren't as sore as they had been, which was a plus. However, she still didn't know if they were strong enough to try flying with.

Jason nodded, watching her wings. "do you think you can fly ms. angel?" he asked. he didn't know her name so he didn't know what else to call her.

"My name is Sonya." She spoke, "But Angel works, too. And no, I don't think I can yet. I'm hoping I can if maybe I get some strength in them, but as of now, I'm not even sure how to move them very well."

jason nodded. 'well hopefully we'll have some time before they send guards out after us. they made a mistake in choosing me for genetics research." he said. "i'm Jason by the way" he said extending his hand to her.

Sonya shook his hand, her grip still weak, "Nice meeting you. Thanks, by the way. I would have never gotten out of there on my own."

Jason nodded. "from what i've heard, no one has ever escaped. so we are a first. they don't know what to do about us" he said smirking. he wondered how they would get food. he knew she needed to eat something to help get her strength up.

"I'd never heard of it before, either." she said quietly.

"well between the two of us we'll come up with a way to get off of this rock" he said. he seemed very confident about this.

Sonya nodded, "If I get save up some energy, I might be able to try and fly off."
